The Stahl Collection has over 100 cars on display ranging from the 1886 Daimler prototype to the muscle cars of the 1960's with special emphasis on the great cars of the 1930's and 1940's- a period of style and constant evolution. Stahl’s also offers a variety of music machines to enjoy the old rock n ‘ roll. Prior to the trip, we will have lunch at Strawberry Fields Restaurant, on your own. Due at Registration:

Join us to tour the Islamic Center of America’s 120,000 sq. ft. mosque opened in May 2005. It is reputed to be the largest mosque in North America and the oldest Shia mosque in the United States. The mosque has space for 1,000 individuals at prayer time. The mosque includes a vast meeting hall that can be divided into several smaller rooms, an industrial kitchen, a spacious prayer room, mezzanine, offices, meeting rooms, and a library. Lunch will be on your own at Al-Ameer Restaurant after the tour. Note: All women must bring a scarf to cover their hair while inside the Mosque. We will also stop at a local bakery after lunch so you may pick up a treat to take home.

This is a reminder that the times scheduled for trips are leaving times and not boarding times. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to leaving. We WILL NOT be calling you to see where you are. If you are late, we will be forced to leave you behind. We are on a tight schedule and each stop on the trip is scheduled at a particular time with the businesses. There will not be any refund because we have paid for the number of people that signed up for the trip. PLEASE NOTE: There is no reserved bus seating. Seats are first come-first serve. Any special request will be at the discretion of the escort and based on availability. All travelers MUST remain with the group at all times; exception to this is free-time within the trip as announced by the escort.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event that you can't attend a trip you signed up for, call your senior center as soon as possible so that we can do our best to fill your spot with a replacement. An account credit will only be issued for cancellations if we can fill your spot. After office hours, including weekend cancellations, we will not have the resources to fill your spot for you and late cancellations will be considered a no-show with no credit issued. Emergency medical cards must be completed before you attend a trip.

Paying by check: a separate check in the exact amount for EACH TRIP is required when signing up for multiple trips at the centers. Utilizing CIVIC REC on-line requires a credit card which may be used to pay for multiple trips.

Non-Resident Trip Signup

Non-residents of Dearborn Heights are welcome to sign up for trips, if there are any seats available after the resident sign up date. If the trip is full, non-residents may go on the wait list in case of a cancellation.

We will eat an early dinner at Pete’s Place, on your own prior to heading to World of Games. Entry fee required at World of Games of $11.00 for a wristband. Cash/Credit accepted.
