Flat Rock Train Depot Museum Thursday January 12, 2023 Amazing and wonderful displays of many running model trains, dioramas of railroad history, interactive fun (push buttons to light buildings, move cranes, etc.), and very knowledgeable guides and story tellers. This is sure to be a fun day for anyone that enjoys trains. The museum will still have their holiday towns on display to add to the charm. We will enjoy lunch following our visit at Pipers in Flat Rock. Lunch is on your own. $-$$

Detroit Boat Show Monday January 16, 2023 Join us as we visit Huntington Place (formerly Cobo Hall) in downtown Detroit for the annual Boat show. It’s senior day so all seniors are Free. If you are under 60 years of age you might be charged $14.00 to enter. Spend several hours exploring all the beautiful boats on display. Dinner will be at Mallies Sports Grill & Bar on the way home. “Simply Queen” Canton Village Theater Friday January 27, 2023 SIMPLY QUEEN is a world class act! This COMPLETELY LIVE tribute performs all the iconic songs that have made Queen one of the most legendary rock bands of all time and faithfully recreates the grand scope of Queen's live shows. It's musically and visually captivating. Our first stop will be at Shishi Place, a family owned establishment serving real middle-eastern style cooked meals. They also have wonderful seafood dishes and sandwiches from which to choose. Everything is homemade. Dinner is on your own. In the event that you can’t attend a trip you have signed up for, call your senior center as soon as possible so that we may fill your spot with someone on the wait list. Cancellation Policy after deadlines: vouchers will only be issued if we fill your spot. Emergency medical cards must be completed before you attend a trip. Trip payment methods are as follows: Paying by check - exact amount of trip. Paying for multiple trips by check - a separate check for EACH trip. Wednesday January 11 NOTICE TO TRAVELERS This is a reminder that the time schedule for trips are leaving times and not boarding times. Please be there at least 15 minutes prior to leaving. We WILL NOT be calling you to see where you are. If you are late, we will be forced to leave you behind. We are on a tight schedule and each stop on the trip is scheduled at a particular time with the businesses. There will not be any refund because we have paid for the number of people that signed up for the trip.
