First we will stop at the Flaming Grill Family Dining for a delicious meal. Dinner is on your own. This restaurant is a relaxed family-run place offering a huge menu of homestyle Greek & American fare. After lunch we are off to the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts for “Broadway—The World of Musicals”.

This show brings the very best of musical theatre to life. This captivating production is an emotional journey through the great world of musicals that will leave the audience spellbound. With beautiful and emotional ballads from Evita, Les Misérables and Phantom of the Opera, along with great upbeat favorites from Dirty Dancing, Rock of Ages and Mamma Mia, there is something in this show for everyone.

Movie Day Tuesday-February 7, 2023 MJR Westland offers a deal with $5 admission and reward members get free popcorn on Tuesdays.

Movies and showtimes come out about a week prior. Brunch prior will be at Westland Family Diner. All costs are on your own.

Beetlejuice, the musical At The Fox Theater Sunday February 12, 2023 We are heading downtown today to the Detroit Opera House to see Beetlejuice, the musical. You will have the best view in our main floor seats. Beetlejuice is packed full of great music, and tons of fun. Based on the movie, this musical comedy tells the story of a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. It’s a remarkably touching show about family, love, and making the most of every Day-O! After the matinee, we will enjoy dinner at Fishbones in Greektown, a relaxed atmosphere spotlighting Cajun fare, including steak & seafood. This afternoon we travel downtown to tour the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit! Decorated in Gothic Revival style, it is the seat of the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit.

The Cathedral is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The cost of the trip will be given to the church as a donation.

We will stop for lunch after the tour. You can choose to go to Lafayette Coney Island or American Coney Island. Lunch is on your own. $-$$ Due at Registration: Residents Non-residents Registration:

Cancellation Policy after deadlines: vouchers will only be issued if we fill your spot. Emergency medical cards must be completed before you attend a trip.

Trip payment methods are as follows: Paying by check - exact amount of trip.

Paying for multiple trips by check - a separate check for EACH trip.

Paying by cash - exact amount of trip; nothing larger than a twenty dollar bill.

Please be there at least 15 minutes prior to leaving. We WILL NOT be calling you to see where you are. If you are late, we will be forced to leave you behind. We are on a tight schedule and each stop on the trip is scheduled at a particular time with the businesses. There will not be any refund because we have paid for the number of people that signed up for the trip.
