The HUB is Realty Executives Associates’ Compliance Department. Using DotLoop, The HUB reviews each document submitted for LISTINGS, CONTRACTS, and CLOSINGS to ensure they are compliant with all company guidelines, state & national rules, and real estate laws.

DotLoop classes are held periodically to assist with managing and maintaining your DotLoop account.

Whether you are an experienced agent moving to Realty Executives Associates or a newly licensed agent starting your career as a Realtor, you will be assisted along the way by REA staff, marketing, your Broker, and a Liaison/Mentor field guide.

Best Opportunity for Success

Newly Licensed Agents will be provided with t raining guidelines and expected goals. The training is “hands on”, so that you may learnthrough practice all steps involved in real estate t ransactions before moving forward with your own transactions. You will have opportunities, fromyour Mentor and other agents in your office, to assist them with aspects of lead generation,sales, listings, and drafting of contracts.


Your Liaison/Mentor will be your guide, assisting you with your transition into the agency, training you on the firm’s processes, procedures, and available resources and tools so you can maximize your success as an agent and minimize the time it takes to obtain it. All agents new to REA are given steps to follow that will help you to quickly get integrated into the fi  rm’s protocols. All tools provided by REA to agents will be explained, along with simplified setup instructions so you can startproducing quickly.



A Training Program for Realty Executives Associates OUR CURRICULUM ASSOCIATES UNIVERSITY is a ten week training program to be offered once per quarter, or four times per year. Training sessions will be held on Wednesdays in Maryville & Fridays in Knoxville, but may be adjusted for holidays or other conflicting events. Most sessions will be two hours unless noted, and will begin at 10:00 am in the downstairs conference room of the REA Downtown office. The Dotloop and RF 401 Contract Classes will be three hours. Agents attending all 10 sessions will receive a certificate of completion, $250 to apply to the monthly agent bill, and a public acknowledgment by REA that can be used for social media marketing. Agents are encouraged to attend all sessions, even if some topics have been covered in previous training sessions.





An overview of the use of the MLS, KAARMLS agent site, KAAR calendar, Courthouse Retrieval, Prime Agent and the Supra & ShowingTime desktops. The workings of the REA “HUB” will also be discussed.

Representatives from Mortgage Investors Group will give an overview of the different loan programs, and the qualifying process.


APPRAISALS, THE APPRAISAL PROCESS & RPR A licensed appraiser will offer an overview of the appraisal process, including basics of the appraisal form, values and adjustments, FHA /VA requirements and the appraisal appeal process. Agents will also receive training on the RPR market analysis program. WEEK 3:

BEGINNING DOTLOOP Basics of Dotloop by Dotloop-certified trainer, Donna Tallent. WEEK 4:

CONTRACT CLASS This three-hour session will cover all aspects of the RF 141 Exclusive Buyer Representation Agreement and the RF 401 Purchase & Sale Agreement. WEEK 5:

LISTINGS & COMMISSIONS Agents will learn about the steps of the listing process, and REA company policy regarding commissions and commission splits.


CLOSINGS, CLOSING ETIQUETTE AND THE TITLE PROCESS Representatives from Southeast Title will discuss the title and closing process, closing disclosures, documents and closing etiquette. WEEK 8:

HOME INSPECTION & HOME WARRANTY In Part 1, a qualified home inspector will offer an overview of the inspection process and the basic elements of home construction. Part 2 will be information about Home Warranties, specifically the REA business partner, Choice Home Warranty Program. WEEK 9:

THE NEW CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT To be taught by a qualified REA agent who specializes new home sales, this session will center around the use of the RF 403 New Construction Purchase & Sale Agreement. WEEK 10:

ADVANCED DOTLOOP Taught by Dotloop-certified trainer, Donna Tallent, topics will include setting up Easy Offer folders, Checklists, Tasks and Clauses.

Agent Commission Program Our commission programs can be modified at any time. There are no long term commission contracts. We do ask, for ease of bookkeeping, that any changes be made at the end of a quarter with 30 days notice. Contracts that are pending at time of change will close under commission program in place at time of contract.
