Welcome to Capital Region Building & Design’s 2022 Saratoga Showcase Edition. Each year the Showcase features the finest that this region’s builders have to offer. This Official Guide provides all the information you need to tour the six beautiful homes in this year’s Showcase, including directions and map to guide you. It is an easy reference guide to carry along as you make your way around the homes during these two weekends.

Of course, the most important aspect of this tour is helping the two charities that have received more than a million dollars over the years to assist them in their work: Rebuilding Together Saratoga County and Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties. It is still a difficult recovery time for these charities as a result of the pandemic. Your ticket purchase will contribute to making a difference in their ability to help members of our community have a better life.

For many years now we have been fortunate to have Randall Perry as our feature photographer, whose talent only enhances these beautiful homes you have seen in past issues. We thank him for his contribution to making CRB&D’s pages stand out.

Welcome to the 2022 Saratoga Showcase of Homes, now celebrating 26 years of exceptional homes! This spectacular annual event is the area’s premiere new home tour, one of the wonderful traditions in our fall season.

Proceeds from this year’s Showcase of Homes will benefit two local worthwhile or ganizations: Rebuilding Together Saratoga County and Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties. These amazing groups help our community through improving the homes and lives of those in need. Many families in our area would never realize their dreams of home ownership or improvement of their living conditions without the efforts of these two incredible organizations.

Rebuilding Together Saratoga County’s mission is repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives. When qualified homeowners are not capable of making needed repairs, we will coordinate the volunteers, contractors, tools and supplies necessary to fix the homes. These services are provided at no cost to the homeowner.

In the 15 years since our founding, we have renovated and revitalized 973 homes and 85 nonprofit centers with the help of more than 9,300 volunteers who have dedicated 56,500 hours of their time, bringing hope and renewed pride to homeowners in need throughout Saratoga County. We are proud to be neighbors helping our neighbors in need remain in the homes and neighborhoods they love.

In 2017, we launched The Store, which offers boutique home décor finds at affordable prices. All proceeds from The Store are used to provide home repairs for veterans, seniors, individuals living with a disability and families in need.

Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties is a volunteer based non-profit whose mission is to create affordable housing for low to moderate income families. We build and rehabilitate homes using volunteer labor and donated materials. We then finance the home for a family within 40-60% of the county’s median income with a zero interest, 30 year mortgage. We’ve recently completed our 28th home build.

We’ve also expanded our affiliate services to develop a ReStore. The Habitat for Humanity ReStore will sell donated building materials and home furnishings to the public. All proceeds from the ReStore go directly into the construction of our homes.
