Drawing on more than 25 years of experience with over 700 colleges and universities across the United States, the presenter will share what the Gardner Institute has learned about designing comprehensive, intentional first-year experiences that help all students and the institutions that serve them thrive. The session will highlight how first-year seminars and related practices can and should be integrated into a holistic approach that ensures students receive a strong start for long-term success.
