Statement on the Contingency Fee Limitation Initiative Petition

That duediligence ledto conversations, but no final decision, to participate intheeffort to support theContingencyFee Limitation Initiative Petition. Earlierstatements thatindicatedour support or membership in Nevadans for Fair Recovery were released withoutpermission. TheRetailAssociationof Nevada will not beparticipatingin this effort. We willcontinueto staunchlysupportour mission to educate policy makers thatdecisions made inCarsonCity haverealworldimpacts on the price of goods andservicesfor our customers andour members’ ability tostay in business."
