Carson City – Legislators will conveneMonday, February10,2025 (agenda) toconsider Assembly Bill 171,aproposed measure aimed at addressing supply chain challenges that have led to increasedprices and decreased availability of eggsin Nevada. Thebill would grant the State Quarantine Officer the authority to temporarilysuspend Nevada’scage-free egg law, ensuringthe state can accessadditionalegg markets during national disruptions caused by diseaseoutbreaks or natural disasters.
