THE PERFECT MATCH… There is no doubt about it, the kitchen is the true headquarters of the Danish company, SkagenFood. This is where the house chef, Jacob Andersen, invents, creates and tries out the delicious recipes for the meal subscription boxes which the company delivers to homes and families throughout Denmark. The kitchen also forms a creative setting for Jacob Andersen’s social media videos for foodies, and his cooking - and his beautiful kitchen - travel online to far away places. Consequently, nothing was left to chance, when the kitchen was designed and decorated. The chef chose the RAIS wood-burning stove Viva L in the colour nickel to create a cosy and homely atmosphere in the kitchen. The nickel coloured stove came to define the rest of the kitchen, as the kitchen cabinet doors were painted in the exact same shade. He chose Viva L with CleverAir, because he prefers to spend his time cooking rather than regulating the stove’s air supply.

CREATIVE PERNILLE CHOSE CLEVERAIR…

The photo shoot at the house of the Danish blogger KreaPernille was a walk in the park with picture-perfect decor, distinctive design and creative ideas everywhere. The artistic blogger has a strong sense of colour, materials and design, and for the family’s living room her choice fell on the white, beautifully rounded Viva L – with CleverAir of course. As a busy working mum with her hands full at all times, she needed her new stove to be easy to use. She got her wish with CleverAir which automatically regulates the air supply ensuring an efficient and clean combustion process. Her husband is also more than happy about CleverAir and the automatic air supply. Actually, he could not do without it!

FROM FISHING NET WAREHOUSE TO CONTEMPORARY HOLIDAY HOME WITH A RAIS Q-TEE

Tucked away among cliffs and fjords in the Scottish highlands, a family discovered an old fishing net warehouse on a one-of-a-kind location with magnificent views of a small archipelago across the sea. With hard work and passion they managed to transform the old warehouse into a contemporary, functional and spectacular holiday home, with panoramic glass walls and sliding doors - just a stoneâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s throw from the sea. The house is designed to bring in the surroundings, and everywhere you turn and look, you feel the strong presence of the sea, the endless sky and the rocky coast. There is only detail that breaks with the consistent impression of glass and bright walls: A black RAIS Q-Tee 2 faces the living room and has its back turned on the rugged landscape. It cuts across two floors â&#x20AC;&#x201C; all the way to the ridge on the ground floor and then through the first floor. The Net Store House is located outside the village of Ardheslaig on the Applecross peninsula.

NOTHING LESS THAN SPECTACULAR... Architect Jan Henrik Jansen has spent five years dreaming up, drawing, building and decorating his holiday home, Birkedal. The house is located on the Danish island MĂ¸n, the garden is one of a kind, and the house is nothing less than spectacular with a circular and spacious layout and a beautiful inflow of light.

The architecture is characterised by organic shapes and incorporates natureâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s materials such as sandstone flooring, a fieldstone terrace, cognac coloured leather and oak wood. The natural materials are combined with white walls which have a distinctive relief effect, kitchen and bathrooms in unfinished brass - and a RAIS 2:1 as a room divider.

This solution is developed specifically for low-energy and insulated houses. The system sucks in fresh air from the outside and feeds it directly into the stove to ensure optimal combustion. The air intake can be concealed by fitting it into the floor or into the wall behind the stove. To facilitate connection to the AirSystem in the stove, we have developed an AirKit system that is adapted to the desired floor or wall installation.

The kit consists of a flexible pipe with a clamp, shielding for the firewood compartment, a coupling with a damper and a casing. The coupling with the damper is very important. If it is not in place, there is nothing to prevent cold air from coming into the stove, cooling down the combustion chamber and creating condensation. The damper on the coupling and air inlet on the stove must be closed when the stove is not in use.

ACHIEVE OPTIMUM DRAUGHT IN YOUR CHIMNEY If there is nothing wrong with your firewood, your wood-burning stove or your chimney, and the fire is still not catching, it may be due to insufficient chimney draught. The problem can often be solved with a chimney fan. Weather conditions and the outside temperature affect the draught in your chimney. With a chimney fan system from exodraft you always have control of the chimney draught regardless of external factors.
