A NIGHT full of MUSIC,Rain & FLAVOUR:

On the 3rd of April, history was made in the University's social calendar with the first-ever "Rota Fiesta", a musical event alongside a food festival with over 2500 people, was an innovative concept brought to life by Projects Chairs, Rtr Sayuni Senadeera, Rtr Githmi Gunawardena and the rest of the amazing board of officials! The event was a huge success and a testament to the hard work put in by the organizers, overlookers, and general members

The Vice-Chancellor's presence at the inauguration of the ceremony added to the excitement and anticipation for the evening's festivities The event lived up to expectations with delicacies of all kinds and music by some of Sri Lanka's most famous artists, Dinesh Gamage, Kaizer Kaiz, and Harini Weerasingha with an amazing music band, YakaCrew
One of the standout moments of the evening was the Rotaract club's interesting "Spiced Rotti" challenge itself and in addition to that, the stalls from our university students and clubs, IEEE WIE Club of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and other interesting challenges made by students made this evening very exciting and brought happiness along the way. Diving in this “Spiced up Rotti challenge”; Sri Lanka’s Rotti තම ෙහාඳම. It was a fun opportunity for people to test their spice tolerance levels, tearing up, and getting redder eyes while friends were laughing hysterically.
