The project focuses on sustainability and repurposes laptops and desktops that are no longer in use. The devices are then tested, cleaned up, and transported to selected schools for use in X-Labs, which are model computer labs. The labs are renewed with new devices once every five years, and basic computing sessions are conducted to teach computer literacy. to the endangerment of Sea turtles, hence, Sea turtles often suffer from poaching and over –exploitation. To address this problem, as well as help protect our sea turtles, the Rotaract Club of NIBM came up with a unique project called "BALE 2.0"

It is the sequel for Bale, a similar project done in 2022 at the same venue, Wellabada Sea Turtles Hatchery. We were able to donate a 500 litres water tank and to provide our volunteer service through activities like cleaning tanks, scrubbing the sea turtles and feeding them. Thus, the project was successfully concluded with our Rotaractors receiving the opportunity to release a few of the baby turtles to the sea, to set off in their new journey of life.
