R5 TV IS BACK!
Riker 's New Movie Needs Help!
On May 19, 2017, R5 made a YouTube video saying that R5 TV would be coming back! The episodes will include their trips to Mexico and Africa as well as family events that they went to as well. We do not know when a new episode will premiere, but we do know that it will be amazing!
The makers of Riker 's new movie needs help in the final production process! Voyeur, a thriller movie about a group of friends on their way to Coachella stars Riker Lynch as Danny. Check out the link at the Table of Contents page to donate and win prizes!

Ellington was on Criminal Minds! Ellington Ratliff was on Criminal Minds on May 10, 2017. He played a red-neck named Ronnie Hawks. I would tell you what happened in the episode, but you just need to watch it yourself. Hopefully Ellington will get more acting parts in the future!

"If " is a funky song with a pool side vibe. The song's synth tone is an amazing backbone to the track. Ross' vocals showed true maturity throughout the catchy tune. Without even looking at the music video, I could tell that this song would be their first single of their EP. It's really nice to see R5 grow into a new sound and mold into a band just from this song.
Lay You r Head Dow n Thank God Rocky has his own song! His voice has improved a lot in his track called, "Lay Your Head Down." The song is about a girl he ran into then started dating, but they needed to go separate ways because they lived in different parts of the world. His words in this song shows that Rocky still cares about the girl now even though they are miles apart.
"Red Velvet" is by far my favorite song off of the EP. The funky bass line along with the rap from New Beat Fund pulls this track right to the top of my list. Yes, the lyrics may be a bit on the dirty side, so please anyone who is young do not listen to this song without talking to your parents first. Overall, this song shows their mature voices and their mature sound.
Tr adin g Tim e "Trading Time" is all about the 80's vibe. The beat is smooth and sexy. Ross' voice captures a rough tone that makes me want to have this song on repeat. The lyrics are all about having a fun night with someone special. Ellington's drumming was pitch perfect throughout the song and Rydel's keys were highlighted in this song as well.
Need You Ton igh t R5's version of "Need You Tonight" by INXS is an updated remix of a timeless song. The lyrics are all the same, but the added popular pop sound that we now hear on most pop artists tracks. The keyboard adds a fresh sound, but the guitars help keep the song in its 80's home. Overall, this cover truly made me throwback to INXS' glory days.
