Why study Chinese Extension? Students with marked linguistic ability have the opportunity to further study their chosen language through the prescribed film 青春派 (Young Style). This course is designed to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of a range of issues as reflected in contemporary Chinese texts, while extending their ability to use and appreciate Chinese as a medium for communication, and creative thought and expression in speaking and writing.

Students are encouraged to express their creative thoughts in Chinese. Students will start the Chinese Extension Course in Term 4 of Year 11.
