Let’s make this the best term of the year!
The end of 2025 is in sight and we have our shortest time to work through before a long stretch at home with family and friends. Make the most of what is on offer this term and finish the year off on a high.
As we’re well into Spring and the weather provides us with warmth and longer daylight hours we can enjoy more outdoor activities. Our beach picnics restart this term, and all Boarders are encouraged to partake in physical activity around the College.
Our Sunday morning tradition of bacon and egg rolls will continue, and we will recommence Thursday night BBQs on Marden Lawn. Boarders Get Baking will be back on Friday afternoons with the wonderful Mrs Wiedermann. Be sure to pass on some favourite recipes for all Boarders to share in the baking.
Thank you for all your feedback and suggestions this year. Keep your ideas coming for other activities and socials that we can use for the Love It program in 2026.

WHAT Twilight Concert in Wahroonga Park
The Spring Twilight Concert in the Park was a great night out last year and is shaping up to be an exciting night again this year. Endless Summer will be the main event performing classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s. There will be food stalls at the venue. Get ready for a night of singing and dancing under the stars.

Sculptures by the Sea returns to the Bondi to Tamarama Beach coastal walk as the world’s largest free-to-the-public sculpture exhibition in 2025. The spectacular coastal walk will once again be transformed into a 2km-long sculpture park over three weeks featuring more than 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world.

Enjoy an evening at one of Sydney’s cleanest and most idyllic harbour beaches. Find a shady spot, lap up the gorgeous scenery and watch the time go by. If it gets too hot, take a dip in the netted swimming area, or enjoy an ice cream at the local café. The kitchen will be packing up a delicious meal for you to enjoy beachside.

It’s that time of year when we welcome our newest Boarding sisters for a sleepover for them to see what it will be like when they join us in 2026. Our newest Boarders will no doubt be a little nervous, but we know you will all be excited to meet them and make them feel right at home.

As we get closer to the end of term, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate your first year at Boarding school than heading down to Balmoral Beach with your friends and a kitchen-packed picnic to enjoy an evening dip in the iconic beach baths. Perhaps you would even like to check out Clontarf to be a little different from the other year groups! Clontarf is wildly popular and a family favourite to enjoy the calm waters for a twilight swim.

Sydney may be renowned for its surf beaches, but its harbour beaches are even more beautiful, and Balmoral Beach is the jewel in the crown. Great fun can also be had jumping from the promenade into the crystal waters below – let’s hope it is warm enough!

If the weather is warm enough for a swim at the beach, we will head down to South Curl Curl and enjoy a dip in the beautiful rock pools or perhaps a walk along the beach. This is one of the best places in Sydney to dive into the waves and enjoy the sun. There are also some cute cafés along the way to enjoy an ice cream or milkshake.

For our American and Canadian Friends, Thanksgiving is a celebration of sharing and abundance, and we would like to develop a tradition of sharing here at Pymble Boarding. We all have many blessings in our lives and the main theme of Thanksgiving is being thankful for the bountiful harvest of food. If you have an exciting activity in mind, get together with a group of friends and put together a proposal. Whether it’s a night out at a favourite restaurant, a trip to a local market or an inner-city expedition, get your ideas down on paper, suggest a date and we will do our best to make it happen.
We would love you to invite a friend from the day school to stay over on a Friday or Saturday night. Propose some dates to your Head of House and make it happen!

With summer fast approaching it’s time to give our feet some attention. Gather some friends and have a pedicure session in house. The Houses have a selection of colours to choose from.
Our Wet Weather back up plan for the term is a trip to Bondi Junction Shopping Centre. Check out the plethora of shops and places to eat. It is a one-stop shop for shopping, fun and relaxation.
