D ear reader, welcome to the magical adventure of a Pymble Ladies’ College education. This is a timeless tale of teaching and learning that empowers girls and young women to dream big, think deeply and step confidently into their future.
Our story began more than 100 years ago, in the leafy green suburb of Pymble, when Presbyterian Ladies’ College opened its gates to the first generation of girls who were curious to see where their learning journey could take them.
From day one, girls were encouraged to explore the tradit ionally-male domains of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, along with a health dose of sport and physical fitness, to challenge their bright young minds and growing bodies.
A whisper turned into a roar, and soon the College became the talk of the town for opening a door to the future via an extraordinary and well-rounded education for girls.
Inspired by outstanding tea chers and staff who believe in the empowerin g environment of an all-girls’ school, generat ions of Pymble girls have become passionate lifelong learners who turn their dreams into reality.
Today, many of our graduates are celebrated as everyday heroes in the fields of Science, Law, Medicine, Politics, the Arts and Sport — even the Olympic Games.
As the world continues to change, the heart and soul of ever-evolving Pymble remains the same. Robust academic learning, outstanding co-curricular opportunities and life-changing community service programs inspire girls from Kindergarten to Year 12 to become compassionate and influential young women with the hearts and minds to make the world a better place for all. Today, our girls enjoy all the benefits of belonging to a large, well-resourced school, while being known, guided and challeng ed to find their very own 'happy place' in which to flourish.
Our magnificent main campus features distinct precincts for each learning stage, three lovinglymaintained heritage Boarding Houses, a state-of-the-art Aquatic and Fitness Centre, professional grade Performing Arts Centre and theatre, multiple sports fields and ovals, and a fully-functional agriculture plot for paddock-to-plate learning.
In 2020, we expanded our learning horizons with a second campus, Vision Valley at Arcadia.
On 100 acres of stunning bushland surrounded by national parks, Pymble girls now have all the space in the world to connect with self, others and the natural environment through groundbreaking outdoor education, wellbeing and residential programs.
