• The winter sports season is warming up with youth basketball and high school soccer. Peninsula and Palos Verdes high schools will have their winter rivalry games next week in soccer, basketball and girls’ water polo. The middle school sport season is also underway, while the Peninsula gets ready for the upcoming robotics tournament at Miraleste School and the District Science Fair next month.
