Judd is a wealth of knowledge and is a great resource for understanding what type of coverage is needed for all di erent properties, cars, personal belongings, etc. If he isn't able to take on the policy he is well networked in the industry where he can at least guide you in the right direction. The thing I love about Judd is you know he's a straight shooter, he walks you through the process, and at the end, you know you're covered in the most comprehensive way without over-selling you on things that don't make sense. I have used and recommended him countless times and I can't speak any higher than the service that Judd and his team at Statefarm provides!"

Joanna Kaniewska — Century 21 Veterans

Joanna is a second-generation entrepreneur who isn’t afraid to dream big and work hard to make her dreams a reality. Her parents started a window manufacturing company after moving to the U.S. from Poland in 1984. They had a single suitcase, $500 and hope. Her father’s “side project” was building custom homes when he wasn’t manufacturing windows. He would always invite Joanna and her two brothers to tag along when he went to work on his house projects, and she enjoyed seeing the progress from idea to blueprint to reality.

She worked in the restaurant service industry in high school, and after she graduated from Penn State with an economics degree, she worked for the o ce of the Bucks County Congressman and then as a benefits analyst for a city nonprofit organization. She noticed that in the corporate world, diligence was rewarded with more work.

In 2018 Joanna’s older brothers spearheaded a revitalization project in Olde Kensington, and they invited her to participate. It was a development of seven single-family units. The project was so invigorating that the trio decided they wanted to do it again, only on a much bigger scale.

In the meantime, in 2019, Joanna became the president of New Promise Foundation (www.npro.org). “New Promise Foundation helps kids who feel like their lives are shattered because of illness, crime, death, war and other things beyond their control or ability to understand. We seek to help children recuperate their lives and improve their future.”

Joanna realized that focusing on various aspects in the field of real estate would allow her to foster the natural creativity and independence that was always bubbling up. Besides, she always found it invigorating to look at houses and, for that reason, Joanna was licensed in 2021 and joined the Century 21 Veterans’ team.

There are several fun things to know about Joanna: Polish is her heart language, and English is her second language; she spent her summers in Poland growing up, so she still speaks polish fluently. She has a Great Dane/English masti mix who loves everyone and is her traveling companion. She loves to stay active and enjoys hiking, but she loves water sports (especially whitewater rafting and jet skiing). She is a certified sailor and secured a boating license.

The whole extended Kaniewski* fam ily gets together weekly for dinners. Joanna enjoys cooking from scratch, especially when she can use ingre dients from her garden. She pre pares dog food herself, rather than purchasing it, and her latest hobby is making nut milk. One of her brothers is a beekeeper and brings her fresh, local honey each week.

“I believe that everything is possible,” smiled Joanna. “It just takes work and team e ort. When I met Deanne, we just clicked. I loved her positive attitude and how she wanted to know how she could help me make my plans a reality. She also invited her on her radio program Good News In not once but twice to talk about my mission. I am so glad we are teamed up for this project!”

A er an injury crushed

Joshua Messinger’s lower back and his plans of being a professional football player, he discovered hidden talents that provided new ways for him to inspire people. Josh’s diligence and perspective have propelled him into the position of a rapidly-rising star in the real estate realm. He cultivates meaningful relationships and continually practices healthy “micro-disciplines” that are changing his life and his real estate business. He has taken his passion and focus to the next level and discovered the currency of relationships.

Josh had played football with all his heart for 13 years, and his only goal in life was to be a professional football player. As a sophomore in high school, Josh fractured his back in two places and was confined to a brace for six months. It was a very scary and discouraging time, and it was excruciating to sit on the sidelines for the rest of the season. After months of treatment and therapy, he had not regained his strength or stamina.

“There are times in life that you continuously push, trying something impos sible, and you are able to accomplish amazing things,” observed Josh. “But sometimes there are dreams that you just can’t make come true. It was really di cult for me to make the decision not to come back for the next football season, knowing that my life-long dream of a football career was over. I had no idea that I would soon find a dream that was much bigger and better than what I was ‘giving up.’”

Better Than A Backup Plan

Josh enjoyed video games, and as a “consolation prize” after realizing he had to give up football, he bought his very first computer that was set up for gaming success. The investment took up a lot of the money he had been saving, and Josh promised himself he would make enough money to pay back his savings account. Being the diligent and focused person he was, Josh soon became a professional Fortnite player and started generating income simply by excel ling at something he enjoyed.

“Opportunities are right in front of us,” Josh smiled. “We just have to see them and try them. I did

not stop dreaming after my injury; I just shifted my focus. I decided to try ‘everything’ and figure out what looked promising. My old goal was to become a professional football player; instead, I became a professional video game player.”

As he was gaining popularity, the young entrepreneur looked for ways to connect with people who had similar interests and began promoting other things he enjoyed as well. He cre ated a sports-themed Instagram page and then discovered how to take it to the next level by monetizing his passion by drop-shipping. He connected with Aaron Grant, another successful drop-shipper, who became his mentor.

“Being all in on what your passion is has always been the standard for my family. I learned that from my dad,” Josh said. “He has his master’s degree in business and has been teaching me business principles for my whole life. I like to joke and say that I received an ‘at-home MBA.’ My mom always told me that I could accomplish anything that I really wanted. So I gave e-commerce my best.”

Josh reinvested in himself, learning every platform and discov ering things about the consumers that each platform catered to. Becoming successful in e-commerce taught him how to go from nothing to something that has value. Although his heart was not in it, he was motivated by the desire to create a new world for his family. Josh faithfully worked his e-commerce and drop-shipping business for several years.

“LIVING OUT THE PRINCETON PROMISE”

Ken Jordan, Branch Manager for Princeton Mortgage, has been serving families in the mortgage industry for two decades. He is deeply committed to serving clients and helping REALTORS® grow their business. Ken and his team are so committed to excel lence in each client experience that they will give a $1000 credit to any client who is not fully satisfied, with no questions asked. Ken’s Princeton Mortgage team lives by the Princeton Promise: They do what they say they are going to do.

COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE

Ken Jordan worked in the restaurant indus try while he earned his degree in Marketing from Penn State. His classes, and his experi ence, helped him develop skills in customer service and teamwork. He enjoyed cooking, and dreamed of opening his own restau rant some day, but decided to pour his time and energy into starting a family with the woman he loved.

Upon graduation in 2000, Ken took a job as Yellow Pages account representative. His grow ing skill set included determination and active listening, and he became a successful ad sales man for the next three years. He wanted to find “the right fit” like his mother had in the insur ance business. Although he enjoyed what he did, Ken knew he hadn’t found his niche.

He wanted to find “the right fit” like his mother had in the insur ance business. Although he enjoyed what he did, Ken knew he hadn’t found his niche.

Ken wanted to help others accomplish their dreams while he built a firm foundation for his own family. His father-in-law, Mason, worked in the mortgage industry. Seeing Ken’s determi nation and diligence, as well as his passion for people, Mason suggested that Ken consider how his talent and passions could help him flourish in the realm of mortgage.

because the talent of the opera tions sta lays the foundation for what the loan o cers can do.

This year Ken experienced some uncomfortable change. His dear mother passed away, and there was some restructuring in the mortgage company Ken had been working with for the past eight years. Ken found himself in a unique position of interviewing mortgage compa nies to find one with values and a vision that matched his. He found it in Princeton Mortgage.

Ken had some honest conversations with his team about why he felt that Princeton Mortgage was the best fit for himself and the team, and they were in agreement with his decision. They were able to easily assimilate to the Princeton Mortgage way of doing business. It is ethical, straight-forward, and client-focused.

Princeton Mortgage also has some won derful resources for REALTORS® includ ing marketing platforms and seamless ways to co-brand. Ken and his team share the same goals as agents; they want to help families and investors achieve their real estate dreams and help agents grow their business.

“Princeton Mortgage is commit ted to providing The E ortless Mortgage™ to every client, every time,” smiled Ken. “We have a proven process, and every member of our team is equipped to interact with clients throughout the process, answering questions and following up in a timely manner. We also give our clients access to an easy online platform and other tech-y ways to streamline their experience and share feedback. We want to provide the world’s best user experience for getting a loan. And, as we say, we back it all up with the Princeton Promise, which clients and agents

love. If a borrower is unhappy for any reason, they can elect to get $1,000 at closing with no strings attached.”

CANCELLING HAPPY HOUR

As the Branch Manager, Ken takes part in Princeton Mortgage’s daily virtual “Happy Hour” meetings with processors, loan o cer assistants, underwriters, and closers. They discuss potential issues and brain storm together how to make clients and agents more happy by being even more professional, productive, punc tual, and people-oriented.

When the national team meets for their Happy Hour sessions they brainstorm solutions to potential problems and, when needed, plans steps for service recovery. There is never any shame or blame placed on team mem bers during the Happy Hour Zooms, and it is a very beneficial learning tool. The objective is to have such satisfied customers that 75% of Happy Hour meetings can be cancelled because every loan is exactly where it’s supposed to be.

They usually reach their goal.

wins.

“One thing that continually impresses me about Princeton Mortgage is the level of accountability and transparency across the entire organization,” Ken shared.

THE “AND” LIFE Ken and his family live what they call the AND life. Work AND play. Giving generously AND receiving with thanksgiving. Maintaining a teachable attitude AND being willing to coach and mentor others to greatness.

From those who coached him in the restaurant business all the way to his former branch manager John and everyone in between, Ken is thankful for the mentors in his life and is hon ored to be able to pour into others the way people have poured into him. Ken is also thankful that he and his father-in-law still work together in the mortgage business, and is honored that Mason is a member of his team at Princeton Mortgage.

Ken’s wife Amy is the VP of Finance for a Wayne, PA investment firm that manages hedge funds. Ken, who has been coaching his children’s youth sports teams for over 16 years, is coaching his youngest daughter Bella’s softball team this year.

At 13 years old, Bella loves softball, cooking, and being creative. 17-year-old Caitlin also loves softball, and has a compassionate heart for others. Liam is 22 and will graduate from the University of Delaware with a master’s in cybersecurity, earning his undergraduate and master’s degrees in only five years. The Jordan family spends a lot of time at the shore and on the softball field.

As the former president of the Swarthmorewood Athletic Association, Ken reflected, “The lessons of success are universal and apply to sports and to life. We are like a sports team, working to get better every day. We collaborate and learn together. We do what we need to do, and we do what we say we are going to do, so everybody wins.”
