Friends,todayisTuesdayJune20WorldRefugeeDay.Forthefirsttime inrecordedhistory,thenumberof peopleforciblydisplacedisnow108.4 million,withover35.3million refugees(NHCR).1%oftheworld’s populationisuprooted,homeless,and feelingdesperatelyhopeless.
Onthisimportantday,weencourage youtopauseandprayforrefugees aroundtheworld.AsktheGodofhope tohealthebrokenhearted,restore livelihoodsandbringpeacetopeople andnations.

ManystillresideinpartsofMyanmarandontheborderwithIndia.Ourteamsin MyanmarareworkingonreachingthedisplacedRohingyawithourtrauma healingcourse.Praywithusthatmanyheartswouldfindapathtohealingand thatfamilieswillfindeternalhopethroughourresourcesandbeintroducedto JesusChrist.
TheChinpeoplearealargely Christianpeoplegroup,also victimsofpersecutionfromthe Buddhistmajority.SincetheJunta forciblytookoverMyanmarin February2021,upto50,000Chin havefledthecountry,alsoresiding ontheborderwithIndia.Please prayforSilasandourteamasthey finishthetranslationoftheTrauma courseintoChinandbeginthe deploymentofthecourseforthese dearpeople.
