The spring season brings forth a vibrant tapestry of blooming flowers, budding trees, and longer, sun-kissed days, providing an opportune moment to explore the great outdoors
During the winter, the shorter and colder days prevent us from enjoying the sun ' s warmth and brightness, making us less inclined to go for a walk after work or step outside to enjoy the outdoors Now that the weather is warming up, we can start spending more time outdoors.
THINGS TO DO
When springs starts, the days are longer and you can create new routines to make the most of that time This seasonal change can make you feel happier and more active.

Spring means flower buds and blooming trees, and if you're one of the millions of people with seasonal allergies, it also means sneezing, congestion, runny nose, and other annoying symptoms Seasonal allergies can make you feel very ill However, before you settle for plastic flowers and artificial grass, try these simple strategies to keep allergies under control.
REDUCE YOUR EXPOSURE TO ALLERGY TRIGGERS
Stay inside on dry, windy days The best time to go outside is after a good rain, which helps clear pollen from the air.
Don't mow the grass, pull weeds, or do other gardening tasks that raise allergens
Take off the clothes you wore outside and shower to rinse pollen from your skin and hair.
Don't hang clothes outside as pollen can stick to sheets and towels
Put on a mask when you do chores outside
KEEP INDOOR AIR CLEAN
There is no miracle product that can remove allergens from the air, but these suggestions can help:
Use air conditioning in your home and car.
If you have pressurized heating or air conditioning in your home, use highefficiency filters and maintain them regularly
Keep indoor air dry with a dehumidifier. Use a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter in your room
Clean floors often with a vacuum cleaner that has a HEPA filter
TRY AN OVER-THE-COUNTER MEDICATION
They can help you relieve allergy symptoms. For example:
Oral antihistamines
Nasal sprays with corticosteroids
Nasal sprays with disodiumcromoglycate
Oral decongestants.

At first glance, Glenit Palacios is a simple and loving grandmother who enjoys looking after and caring for her grandchildren while helping her daughter.
Behind her slow walk is a woman full of vitality who gives much of her time to helping other people in need.
Every Wednesday she arrives at 9:00 in the morning at the Knights of Columbus club to pack vegetables and other products that are distributed there to more than 400 families in need
Connecting with Progreso Latino
Palacio began contacting PL on the recommendation of her doctor to enroll in Diabetes Self-Management. Classes taught by wellness leaders Denisse Abreu and Dilenia Cruz.
Some time later, she joined the Walk with Ease program with health coach Dominga Taveras.
I love going to volunteer at the food pantry because there I feel happy sharing with my colleagues, packing food and delivering it to families who need it. There I feel accepted; That's why I like being there.
At the beginning of 2020, Palacios enrolled in the Self-Management of Chronic Pain course. Finally, she stays active through the senior citizen program where she enjoys going to the YMCA and other activities.
As time went by, she learned how to keep her health conditions under perfect control. Today she enjoys the freedom to visit family and friends in and outside of Rhode Island.

Change the way you eat, change the way you live
The pace of daily life gets busier every day With so many ways to spend our time we can forget to make time for what is most important, our health! With that in mind, we created SASASA to take some time every week to put ourselves and our health at the top priority SASASA is an acronym that stands for Salud Salsa and Sabor.
During the class, we learn new recipes using healthy ingredients, learn critical
We cook with ingredients mostly from the food pantry to teach people how to create healthy recipes when the budget is limited.

ALLERGIES AND THEIR EMOTIONAL AND TRANSGENERATIONAL MEANING
Allergies, clinically speaking, are responses of the immune system to a foreign (exterior) body
(antigen) It is an excessive and maladaptive reaction, as a result of the regulation of our body's immune system
Seen from a Family Constellations therapist’s perspective, allergies are founded by unaccepted situations, which awaken memories of forgotten emotions. They show a rejection of a situation that we are not ready to face emotionally.
Spring Allergies
The proliferation of flowers can connect with wounds in the family system associated with funerals and early or very painful losses.
