How to Scan on HP Laserjet Pro MFP M148DW
Scanning Via Windows HP Software
● Load the photo/document on the HP LaserJet M148DW printer's scanner glass. Then, close the scanner cover.
● Launch the Windows HP software (Start> All Programs> HP folder).
● When the HP scanner software opens, click the Print, Scan & Fax tab. Then, click Scan> Scan a Document or Photo.
● To make any changes to your document, click the More link at the top right corner and make the appropriate modifications.
● Finally, choose the destination on your computer and click the Scan button.
● Now, your printer starts scanning your document and saving them to the specified destination.
Scanning Via Mac HP Software
● Load the photo/document to be scanned on the M148DW printer's scanner glass.
● Lower the scanner cover.
● Launch HP Easy Scan on your Mac computer (Go> Applications> HP Easy Scan).
● Click the Scanner drop-down button and choose the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148DW printer from the list.
● Make the appropriate changes to your document and click the Scan button.
HP Laserjet Pro MFP M148DW Scan to Email
● To begin with, open the HP scanner software and click the Print, Scan, & Fax tab.
● Click Scan> Scan a Document or Photo.
● Choose the scan type you prefer and click Scan.
● To email the documents as PDF, choose Email as PDF. On the other hand, to email the documents as a JPEG file, pick Email as JPEG.
● Now, the documents will be saved as an attachment to your default email software.
