November 26 – Chest Fever / The Belly Up Tavern, Solana Beach
Featuring members of acclaimed combo, Mrs. Henry, Chest Fever celebrates the 45th Anniversary of The Band’s legendary album, The Last Waltz. It’s a multimedia show, mixing film and music, making for a wonderfully immersive night of classic rock. December 1 – Roddy Radiation and the Skabilly Rebels / Corazon del Barrio, Barrio Logan Ska fans won’t want to miss this appearance from former Specials guitarist, Roddy Radiation! Add in sets from Smoke and Mirrors Sound System (featuring John Roy) as well as The Amalgamated and it’s an instant dance party!
December 2 – Tim Pyles Rock ‘n’ Roll X-mas Toy Drive / Winston’s, Ocean Beach Tim Pyles kicks off the holiday season with a toy drive, featuring performances from The Diz,
Substitute Gym Teacher and Authentic Sellout, plus Vitto and the Trees. Admission is just $10, or free with an unwrapped toy. Great cause, great music! December 8 – Christmas with the Blindfold Monks / The Pour House, Oceanside Irish folk / rock band The Blindfold Monks, featuring members of Brogue Wave, The Drowning Men and Flogging Molly, is hosting a Christmas party, with drinking songs alongside more sentimental fare. Their annual holiday shindig is usually a sellout, so get there early! December 10 – The Tighten Ups / The Casbah, Little Italy Celebrating 15 years of great rock ‘n’ roll, The Tighten Ups (featuring Joey Harris) are throwing a party at The Casbah, and you’re invited! Opening up the proceedings will be incredible guitarist Laura Chavez, as well as Harpco.
