School Trips SCHOLARS PROGRAMME
Scholars Programme This term a selection of year 9 students have been taking part in the Scholars Programme. The programme provides non-selective state schools the opportunity to work with a PhD researcher to experience university-style learning. It helps them to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to secure a place at a highly selective university. The students were selected because of their outstanding work in English so far in secondary school. They have been learning about Digital Capitalism and Modern Society. Starting at the Feudal System in Medieval

England, students have travelled right through to present day. The selected students have been working incredibly hard to get to the standard they need to submit a University style essay at the conclusion of the course.
