GCSE Photography
from Spring 2021
Students in years 9 and 10 have been working remotely on a Lockdown mini project in GCSE Photography, overcoming barriers to create fantastic personal projects. Students chose starting points for their project based on accessible themes whilst working from home, such as Shoes, In the Kitchen, Shadows and Sweets.
Using Google classroom to present and share work, students excelled at researching and responding to their chosen theme, all whilst following a GCSE structure. Developing ideas through mood boards and mind mapping before investigating artist and photographers, recording their ideas through photography and editing their work on Pixlr.com. Their hard work is shown clearly in the work and their dedication to self-directed work is commendable. Well done to all!
