Prestige Internal Finishing
Prestige understands the importanceof havingconfidence inthe homewhen it comes to handing a newly sited home over to the Homeowner.
The Internal Finishing Team (IFT) will support the Park Owners to ensure every aspect of the new unit is ready for the Homeowner to move straight into. The team will check the externals, complete all internal finishing, review, action snags and bring any shortages to complete the home, ready for the final customer-ready clean and propping by the Park.
As a manufacturer we believe that working in partnership with Parks is the best way that we can provide support. Continuity is vital and is the basis of a strong and solid relationship with both Park Managers and, where appropriate, the Homeowners.
The Park’s preferred Hauliers will be used to transport the home and carry out the external siting (up level and watertight), as per the PSL. Prestige will then make arrangements with the Park for their dedicated Engineers to attend and carry out theInternal Finishingoncethehome has been connected to the main services.
Ordinarily the IFT will attend site between 7-10 days following despatch, to allow time for siting, externals and commissioning of the home. We appreciate that due to timings for the bases, homes can be held in storage for a time before siting commences. This can be planned with your Account Manager, rather than an automatic plan to attend after despatch. Alternatively, if a home is likely to be commissioned earlier than 7 days, we can plan this in advance with the team.
The Internal Finishing process itself can takebetween 1-3 days, dependent on the complexity of the home, and willinclude a197-pointcheck designed to ensurethehome is handedover tothestandard weexpect.
We request that all Internal Finishing is carried out once the home has been connected to the main services, to ensure that our Engineers can complete the finishing to the highest standard. The commissioning is necessary for effective lighting, heating, drying times during the wet works and for effective snagging and plumbing and electrical testingthroughout which is beneficial to both parties.

Inspect, installandcommission fireplaceifdesignedtosit acrossthejoin(twin homesonly).
InspectBathrooms/en-suitesincluding toilets,basinsandshowers. Adjusttapsifnecessary.
Inspectbedroomfurnitureincludingbeds/mattresses.
Completeflooring,i.e.carpets,vinyl,laminateandtiling.
Removalallpackaginganddebrisfromtheunit.
