Exterior wall finishes

Our steel “Strongbox” chassis gives formidable structural performance with a corrosion resistant paint finish to the exterior.

The final finish is coated with a specially formulated synthetic resin bonded aggregate, “The Stucco Finishing System.” Cladding is often used to enhance the overall architectural features of the home. We have a wide range of styles, materials and colours, which our friendly sales team can help you with.

Galvanised chassis are available as an upgrade, ideal for coastal locations. Let our team know your plot location so they can guide you to the best option.

Exterior wall construction All Prestige homes include a layered exterior wall construction using timber studs filled with mineral wool insulation, plus a secondary layer of insulation to enhance thermal performance, helping to keep the home cooler in summer. The inner layer includes a vapour barrier to prevent risk of condensation within the structure.

We are Gas Safe registered and an approved NICEIC installer.

Floor The thermal efficiency of the flooring is protected by the exterior board. The cavity floor construction comprises floor joists, screwed directly to the chassis for optimum strength and robustness. Insulation is provided by mineral wool, complete with P5 tongue-and-groove floorboards for additional rigidity, with a foil moisture barrier.

Built to BS3632 standards

Windows & Doors Our UPVC and aluminium windows and doors are fitted to the highest standards. The thermal transmittance, otherwise known as the U-value, is 1.4 W/m2K. The low emissivity C-rated argon-filled glass provides good year-round thermal performance, just as you would find in a traditional house.

Every Prestige residential park home is built to meet BS3632 standards, giving you confidence that your home has been designed, constructed and fitted for year-round residential living. This includes robust levels of insulation, ventilation and wall construction, along with tested acoustic performance and lowemissivity, high-performance glazing and external doors.

Prestige as standard Our designers have created a beautiful collection of standard interiors, thoughtfully styled to complement the character of our residential homes. Carefully chosen colours, fabrics and finishes create warm, light and welcoming spaces, while still allowing you to add your own personal touches. Every Prestige home comes fully decorated and furnished throughout, including fitted carpets and curtains, sofas, beds and wardrobes, so everything is ready to enjoy from the moment you arrive. Across our homes you’ll also find quality features such as double or triple glazing, fitted kitchens, fully tiled bathrooms, lighting packs, premium UPVC cladding and a 10-year home warranty (layout and scheme permitting). You know when you buy a lodge and it’s just a big caravan? Well!!! When you buy a Prestige you’re buying a home! From another manufacturer we had a leaky lodge, it took 5 years to get our rejection accepted, that manufacturer didn’t make our lodge (big caravan) anymore so we searched for an alternative, we opted for a Prestige Bella Vista and what a great choice that was, we are amazed by the quality, it is definitely a home, we can see ourselves living here full time in retirement, we made a lot of changes to the standard spec but nothing was too much trouble and we are delighted with the result, I can’t fault the service we received and would highly recommend Prestige as your next home.
