Q: What did you do professionally before starting Golden Rabbit? A: I graduated from college with a degree in accounting and got my CPA. Back then, people were not hiring women for accounting positions, so I got a job with the government as an IRS agent. I soon moved up and became an International IRS agent out of Washington, DC. During this time, I also pursued an MBA in international business from George Washington University. After garden shop in the early ’80s when garden stores were still “seed gift industry. I left the store behind to my business partner and ventured to Indonesia with the goal of setting up a wholesale shopping in one of the local food markets that I discovered these wonderful enamel basins the Balinese were using to display their exotic fruits and vegetables.

Q: What made you decide to launch Golden Rabbit? A: While I knew very little about enamelware, I knew I’d found out along the way. What I learned was that all enamelware is not tinware that warps and rusts, and the traditional artisan-crafted bowl I’d discovered along the roadside just months before in Bali. Once I began using a thick, sturdy, carbon-steel enamelware bowl disposable and quality craftsmanship. With this knowledge, my commitment to bringing superior enamelware to the marketplace was born. Q: Why do you manufacture in Indonesia? A: We have worked together with a team of Indonesian craftsmen and engineers for many years to perfect processes and to and time-honored techniques.
