While President Nixon is probably most remembered for Watergate, this has eclipsed his accomplishments as a U.S. Congressman and Senator, two-term Vice President. He was also a moderate and at times liberal Republican with a progressive domestic policy and a strategic foreign policy and international affairs advisor to every U.S. President from Gerald Ford to Bill Clinton. Nixon’s political legacy still has an impact on contemporary America. Presented by Jean-Paul Benowitz, director of Prestigious Scholarships and Public Heritage Studies at Elizabethtown College.
FRIDAY, JUNE 6, 7 P.M.

The band’s arrangements are mostly authentic “record” copies of original artists, making the band a local favorite and one of the only jazz big bands in the area.

Do not put off until tomorrow what you can do today! The fundraising campaign for the Employee Appreciation Gift Fund (EAGF) is underway. It is our opportunity to show our gift of love to the many loyal employees who work on our beautiful campus and provide us with the many services we enjoy daily. The EAGF program was started in 2012 as a way to express our appreciation to ALL of our employees, not just the ones we see every day. As a community, our giving efforts will express our gratitude and thanks for a job well done! The campaign this year runs from April 1 to June 30, with check distribution in July and August.
Please take time today to make your contribution to this effort. We contribute to the fund as our financial situation and our hearts direct us. Collection boxes are located near each of the dining facilities, the MHCC Main Lobby and the Personal Care Lobby (lower level). If you prefer, you may make your contribution at the Peoples Bank in the Clubhouse or send a check directly to Glenn Achey at 202 Guest Drive. Checks should be made payable to EAGF.
By your generosity, we will demonstrate how highly we value our employees and their service to us!
Join us for a two-hour visit at the Masonic Health Care Center, and discover the services available. An information session, with time for questions and answers, will be followed by a personal tour. Meet Matt Mayo, assistant executive director/administrator, and Julie Cartin, director of resident services. Explore our stateof-the-art clinics, event spaces and long-term care and rehab neighborhoods. Tours are also scheduled for Sept. 2, Oct. 7, Nov. 4 and Dec. 2.
Please call ext. 33205 to reserve your spot on the tour and let us know if you require transportation.
Seek balance in your life in all seven dimensions of wellness! This month, we are featuring the Intellectual Dimension:

As you look through the “Village Living” publication, identify which programs you can participate in to enhance your Intellectual Wellness!

All items on display are for sale, and all Masonic Village residents and employees receive a 15% discount on a showroom item priced $100 or more. Did you know that we build airplanes in the Rooster Woodshop? Well, not exactly. What you see in the photos is a child’s rocker made to look like an airplane. There is a large flat surface above the modeled exhaust manifold that provides for a play surface or even a snack table. This would be a novel gift for a young child. It is featured in our showroom if you want to visit us and check it out.
