“Can God Restore?”

According to the Bible, God can restore what is broken, lost, or wasted. This restoration can happen in our bodies, spirits, relationships, and more.

Some ways that God can restore us are:

Physical restoration: God can heal diseases and restore health

Spiritual restoration: God can restore joy, peace, and victory

Relationship restoration: God can restore marriages, relationships, and children

Time restoration: God can restore years that have been lost

Yes, there are times in life when we go through valleys (low points). It could deal with the loss of a loved one, loss of a job, loss of home or any heartbreak that you may be going though. They hurt, and being a Christian does not exempt us from going through these things in life.

The good news is that we do serve a God who sits up high but looks down low! God loves you and truly cares about all that you and I are going through (good and bad). If we can just keep a song of praise in our hearts when these times come upon us, it will help us to get through the valley and low points of our life.

The word of God tells us in the book of Ezekiel Chapter 37:1-14 which tells how God speaks through a vision to the prophet Ezekiel where he sees a valley of dry bones. God asked Ezekiel, “Can these bones live?” Ezekiel answered, “O Lord GOD, thou knowest.” Ezekiel spoke to the bones (with the spirit of God) and the bones came alive. You see, in the natural the bones were very dry and dead, but we have to remember that we serve a God who works in the supernatural can bring anything back to life! So, today if you have things in your life that you think are dead or heartaches that you feel cannot be healed, think again. We serve a God who tells us that “All things are possible if we only believe”. Trust and obey God who can bring what is dead in your life back to life.

Be Blessed

Walking in Faith, Strength, and Renewal:AMessage from the PPBC Women’s Ministry Union

Greetings PPBC Family!

As we step into the month of March, we celebrate the beauty, strength, and faithfulness of the women in our church and community. This month, we reflect on the impact of women in ministry, the power of unity, and our calling to serve God with purpose and passion.

March is also Women's History Month, a time to honor the legacy of those who paved the way before us while embracing the responsibility to empower the next generation. As women of faith, we are reminded of Proverbs 31:26: "She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue."

Additionally, as a church family, we will begin our 40-Day Lenten Fast on Wednesday, March 5, concluding on Thursday,April 17. This sacred time calls us to prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal, allowing us to draw closer to God through fasting, repentance, and acts of service. We encourage each of you to seek God’s presence intentionally, meditate on His Word, and embrace a heart of gratitude during this season of sacrifice and renewal. The 2025 Lent Instructional Guide is available on our church website under the Bible Study tab at https://www.pershingpark.org.

Throughout this month, let us take time to recognize and appreciate the women who have made a difference in our lives our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, friends, mentors, and spiritual leaders. Their prayers, guidance, and unwavering faith have strengthened our families, our church, and our community. May we continue to pour into one another, fostering an environment where women can thrive in faith and service.

As we prepare for the coming weeks, we invite all women and young ladies to join us in upcoming Women's Ministry Union events, Bible studies, and service opportunities. Let us remain steadfast in our commitment to discipleship, outreach, and spiritual growth, ensuring that every woman finds a place of belonging and encouragement in Christ.

We encourage all women of PPBC to stay engaged in ministry, deepen their relationship with God, and continue being vessels of love and service. Let us lift one another up in prayer, encourage each other in faith, and walk boldly in the purpose God has given us.

In His love,

Dear Beloved in Christ,

What a mighty God we serve. We are Happy Glad that we “get” to serve the Lord, utilizing the glorious gift of music!

God has called us to be conduits of His anointing through song we are eternally grateful. Throughout Scripture, we see how music has been used to worship, to teach, to heal, and to proclaim the goodness of the Lord. From the songs of David in the Psalms to the praises of Paul and Silas in prison, music has always been a vessel for divine truth and an instrument of transformation.

In 2 Timothy 1:6, Paul tells Timothy to stir up the gift that God has placed in him.

Question: What is YOUR ministry gift? If music ministry is your gift, we invite you to join us in exhortation, praise, and worship of our Lord.

Through the ministry of music, hearts are uplifted, souls are strengthened, and faith is deepened.

➢ Will you step out by Faith and join us as we carry the message of salvation through song?

➢ Will you join us as we inspire, encourage, and lead others into the presence of God?

➢ Will you join us as we endeavor to lift His name high and proclaim His wondrous works to all generations?

Rehearsal times are as follows:

- Adult Choir - Thursday 6 pm

Note: During our church 40 day Lenten Fast, rehearsals will be conducted at 6 pm Wednesday

- Youth Choir - 1st and 2nd Sundays, immediately following the worship service

- Children Choir - Saturdays at 12 pm

DISCIPLES OF SILENT PRAISE

Praise Dance and Mime Ministry

Let us praise His name with the dance! (Psalm 149:3)

Dancing is how we express with our bodies what our hearts feels towards the Lord. We have to be expressive with both our bodies and faces, so that everyone can see the joy we feel within our hearts. We may wave our arms above our heads, clap wildly, sway our bodies, and move our heads to the music, but we won’t let anyone tell us that our style of praise is wrong. As long as it is praise, there is no right or wrong way. We don’t only minister to our brothers and sisters in Christ, but we minister to ourselves as well. We are continuously seeking God to show Himself in us that we may be pleasing in His sight and do what He has called us to do; to minister to His people through dance.
