This applies to the 90-day period immediately following first turnout. This guarantee is against breeding injury but is not an insurance or mortality policy, but a guarantee on functional fertility. It is not a substitute or replacement for management decisions outside genetic control. For the guarantee to apply, we ask that you contact us as soon as a condition is observed and before the animal is sold. Claims need to be made by October 1, 2025, and accompanied with a statement of veterinarian examination. We will work with you to provide a suitable replacement. If one cannot be provided of equal or greater value, we will issue a sale credit to be used in a future sale for the full purchase price less the salvage value of the animal.

welcome

Fellow Stockmen,

2025 has certainly started out with a bang. A new administration at the helm, recordbreaking cattle markets, and the usual curveballs mother nature throws our way. Please consider this your invitation to join us for our 2025 Bull Sale to be held Friday, April 25 at Crawford Livestock Market in Crawford, Nebraska. The support we received with the return to a live auction format was overwhelming thanks in large part to all of you who bid, bought, and inquired about the cattle. We look forward to servicing repeat customers across the Midwest and building lasting relationships with those of you who are looking to take your bull purchasing in a different direction. The weigh up market is absolutely on fire; get those older bulls to town and trade up for a minimal investment like never before!

Although EPD’s can be a good tool, too many breeders have used them as a crutch to market fat, ill-structured cattle that are too big for most environments. We don’t chase extremes. Balanced cattle with extra look and cowmen convenience traits are what we emphasize. A significant investment in E.T. has once again provided us the ability to offer a large selection of full and half brothers aimed at promoting uniformity and predictability. You can buy with confidence knowing exceptional phenotype, proven cow families, and real-world basics are bred into these bulls. In return, you get females that last as productive mother cows and feeder cattle that demand top dollar.

We are really proud of the set of bulls on offer this year. If you are looking to take advantage of heterosis and F1 females, the Hereford bulls will make them as fancy as walk. The Angus offering is as diverse of a set as we have put together. You will notice several new cow families carrying the Coleman prefix; if you are after moderation and maternal function, look no further. Once again, the Lucy cow has a stellar set of sons at the front of the catalog that have some serious promotional potential. As always, we stand behind these cattle 100% and will be active in bidding and buying on customer cattle for our backgrounding operation. If we can be of assistance in any way, please reach out to any one of us listed in the catalog. We love to talk cattle and look forward to shaking your hand on sale day!

Sincerely,

angus ANGUS BULLS

IDAM TO LOTS 1-4

will never forget the day I laid eyes on 8022 at Nord’s. A true specimen from every angle that was always a crowd favorite during her many trips to the backdrop. Her udder is what dreams are made of and the females that carry her influence have been high sellers year after year. Sons of 8022 include Fortunate Son and Independence. These young studs have been used by some of the best firms in the country and are quickly becoming household names. If you are looking to inject some serious power in the next generation, study these bulls closely.

LOTS 1-3

There are so many things I want to put into words about these three flushmates, their sire, and more importantly what the 8022 cow has done for us. Simply put, the Vegas x 8022 mating has been the most consistent flush produced at our place since Good Times and 41H were produced. These bulls and their three flushmate sisters are the epitome of what we are trying to accomplish as breeders – extremely sound, stylish, fault-free cattle that have realistic performance, the right kind of muscle shape, and as many good cow families stacked behind them as possible. We will let you pick your favorite, but be ready to start cashing some semen checks.

HEIFER BULL buyers pay attention here! We think this is as good of a heifer bull as we have produced to date. He is the first calf out of the $69,000 top-selling female in the 2022 C-4 Female Sale. She quickly entered our donor lineup and her calves on the ground this spring are absolute rockstars. She will no doubt play a huge part in our program moving forward. His sire, LT Converse, has been our go-to for A.I.ing replacement heifers for several years now. The calf shape and vigor he transmits is phenomenal, along with the sheer quality come weaning time. I think you will see that lot 5 takes quality and balance to the next level.

Another super fault-free individual sired by Converse and a favorite of our regional manager, Will Harsh. This bull is square built, dense made, and really exceptional in his lines. He has turned up the crank lately and will be one that should have several friends come sale day. Better yet, his mother is a full sib in blood to Good Times and one of our very best 2nd calvers. Don’t overlook this one!

This is a really complete bull with proven fertility behind him. Don’t be caught sleeping when he comes through the ring.

Are you seeing double? Did the pictures catch your eye? If not, you might want to see your eye doctor. All jokes aside, we have been really pleased with Fortunate Son’s rookie calf crop. These flushmates are as attractive made and athletic in their build as any you will find in the offering. A daughter of Pollyanna commanded $44,000 for ½ interest in the 2022 Classic Female Sale. With her and 8022 in the equation these are sure-fire female makers. After getting more Fortunate Son calves on the ground this spring we would not be afraid to call these bulls heifer safe on larger framed females.

As we continue to build and grow, we have been fortunate to be supported by many top registered breeders including Griswold Cattle Co. John purchased the sire of lot 12 privately several years ago and we are currently running three full brothers on our registered cows. This bull is as equally good if not better. This is a bigger framed, longer bodied bull that carries himself extremely well on some extra substance down low. Another really good cowboy bull that should leave you with a fancy set of steers and daughters that stay in the herd a long time.

OUR BREEDINGphilosophy

C-4

Although we promote our cattle through the show ring, we are still cattle feeders and cowmen at heart. Exceptional phenotype can only be achieved if the basics of fertility, foot quality, and conversion of forages to red meat are met. Cattle and crops pay the bills in Page, nothing else. We see EPD’s as a tool, but at the end of the day, pounds pay and quality brings home top dollar. The use of embryo transfer has been vital to our operation. It allows us to provide a large selection of the very best we have to offer in terms of cow families and quality. What does this mean for you? Replacement females that turn into productive COWS and calf crop uniformity with front end quality that order buyers get crazy over. We believe in our genetics and would love to assist you in achieving top take home dollars. Please reach out with any questions, we love to talk cattle!

Talk about cow power deluxe and a really unique pedigree on the top side! This calving ease specialist is built right in his shoulder and offers extra length and extension. Our bulls are developed low and slow for your benefit, I think you’ll really like this one as a two-year old.

Another Argentine out of Sitz Resilient’s mother. Offering the same length and extension as his brother, he does so with more punch and power. If you want to improve foot quality in your females and uniformity across a calf crop these bulls would be a great pair to take home.
