A CANADIAN Foursome was played at Emerald Downs course with 30 starters Monday 19th. The winners were Louise Laing and Liz Lewis with 33 nett, runners up Jan McFarlane and Dot Ball 33.5 nett with third place Roberta Hogan and Rose Buckley 34 nett. N.T.P. as a team 9th hole was Fay Walsh and Louise McLaughlin.

PORT Macquarie Women golfers are holding their annual Pink Jacket Day on Monday March 12. This is a fun day aimed at ladies wishing to give golf a go whether they have any experience or not. Ladies Wednesday February 14: Wednesday February 14 saw 69 ladies compete for the monthly medal stroke and putting competition in very warm and humid conditions. Results were as follows: Grade A winner was Jan Miller 72 from Helen Smith 73; Grade B winner was Pat Every 77 from Josie Mockford 79; Grade C winner was Robyn Ryan 79 from Di Graham 81 and Grade D winner was Joan Sullivan 78 from Shelley Laing 81. The Gross winners were: Grade A Geraldine Lavender 85, Grade B Pat Every 103, Grade C Di Graham 109, Grade D Joan Sullivan 110. The putting competition was won by: Grade A Jan Miller 27; Grade B Bev Morris 27; Grade C Lyn Kerr 32 and Grade D Marie Horan 33. NTPs were: on the fifth Grade C Zoe McWhirter; on the 16th Grade A Lorraine Swift and on the 13th all in second shot Tracy Crowe. Ladies Friday February 16: Another warm and humid day saw 58 ladies participating in a Stableford round.
