The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships
Ganzis Win Record 7th Title
The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships is the most wellattended event in the United States and this year saw over 12,000 spectators turn out for the 11th anniversary of the event.

There were four polo matches played throughout the day: EPR Polo defeated El Paso Naranjo 10-5 in The Horse & Hound Charity Match and won $6,000 for the Arizona Equine Rescue, while El Paso Naranjo won $4,000 for the Fetch Foundation; in The King Charles III Salute Match, the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club and Wales Polo Team battled it out and the match ended up in an 8-8 tie; The Barbara Lennox Wyatt Memorial Match saw Arizona Polo Club defeat the USA Women’s Team with a convincing score of 8-3.
The Molina Cup saw Melissa Ganzi, Grant Ganzi and Nic Roldan win an unprecedented seventh title after defeating Palm Beach Polo, 7-5. Nic Roldan scored one goal and Melissa Ganzi scored six goals for Aspen Valley Polo Club commenting, “There are very few sports where men and women compete equally but thankful to polo we get that chance, it’s always an exciting match. We love competing at this beautiful event every year and we equally look forward to seeing our friends and family when we travel to Scottsdale every November”.
Alongside the polo there was plenty for the guests to enjoy on the sidelines too with the Riot House Polo Day Club, Canine Couture by Lugari Pet Salon and Grimaldi’s Pizza Disco.
