Naomi Campbell describes the new BOSS capsule collection, powerful, timeless, and effortless.

“During all my years in fashion, the one thing that’s always been constant is travel,” she says. The new collection, then, speaks to “the spirit of today’s modern and dynamic woman—who is strong, independent, and always on the go.”

“It’s about creating fashion that complements a dynamic lifestyle,” Campbell says. “We wanted to offer practicality without compromising on style, ensuring that every piece in the collection serves a purpose beyond just aesthetics.”

This translates into modern silhouettes with the brand’s signature tailoring and precision craftsmanship, form, and function, rendered in luxuriously comfortable cashmere, cupro, and jersey. Campbell and BOSS looked to fabrics that encouraged freedom of movement, evergreen wearability, and smart functionality when designing the collection.

A double-breasted pinstriped suit in stretch-infused wool, for example, offers a wrinkle-free finish. This, in fact, is a clever feature that runs through all the suits in the collection. In outerwear, a high-shine trench is coated with a practical water-repellent finish.

Naomi Campbell commented, “BOSS’s timeless style and the brand’s commitment to pushing boundaries aligned beautifully with my own vision and style.”

After a lifetime in the fashion world, Campbell reveled in her new role of designer. “Moving beyond being a campaign face to cocreating a collection allowed me to explore a whole new facet of my art,” she says.

“It was very hands-on and collaborative. We started with brainstorming sessions where I shared my vision, ideas, and personal style inspirations. I was deeply involved in every step of the design process—from selecting fabrics and refining silhouettes to choosing the finer details.”

Naomi Campbell worked with Marco Falcioni, SVP of creative direction at HUGO BOSS, on the new collection. “We had a lot of fun collaborating, working outside our comfort zones, and leaning on one another for insight with specific design challenges,” he shares. “[Naomi] was very much involved and passionately invested in this project from the get-go. Of course, it was her idea to create a travel-themed collection, drawing on her own experiences, personal tastes, and preferences. She knows what she wants and shared meaningful creative input throughout the development process, mixing the BOSS fashion codes with her own iconic style.”

RICHARD MILLE ALULA DESERT POLO 2024 The event, which took place on January 17-20 January 2024 at AlFursan Equestrian Village, has witnessed top international polo players competing in an adrenaline-packed game set against a stunning backdrop of the breathtaking AlUla canyons.

Against the breathtaking backdrop of the AlUla desert, sporting excellence was on full display once again as eight teams clashed in main and subsidiary elimination encounters.

This year’s fabulous third edition decided the line-ups for the finale – where Saudia face Richard Mille in a main final meeting for the Desert Polo trophy. Polo legend Adolfo Cambiaso starred for Saudia in an 8-4 win against Dadan while Richard Mille scored with two seconds remaining to overcome Bentley 5-4.

Attendees also enjoyed high-quality matches in the subsidiary semi-finals. Proceedings began with a gripping end-to-end contest as AlUla claimed a 7-6 win against SAB with the deciding goal coming in the last minute of the fourth chukka.

Awaiting AlUla in the Saturday subsidiary final is Tayma.

Visitors were treated to another classic in the desert as Tayma edged out Khaybar 6-5.

Jil Sander Creative Directors Lucie and Luke Meier welcomed guests to a cocktail party celebrating the opening of their London Flagship Store on Bond Street.

Lucie and Luke were joined by special guests Benji B, Nikolai von Bismarck, Anna Shaffer, Nassia Matsa, India Rose James, Campbell Addy, Kesewa Aboah, Jefferson Hack and Anna Cleveland to name a few.

Designed to create an intimate journey into the Jil Sander world and infused with Lucie and Luke Meier's sensitivity and attention to detail, this is the brand's first store conceived in partnership with the globally-renown firm Casper Mueller Kneer.

BMW XM 50e high performance with maximum efficiency.

As the latest offshoot of the first ever electrified highperformance model from BMW M GmbH, the new BMW XM 50e (fuel consumption, combined: 166.2 – 217.3 mpg; electric power consumption, combined: 32.2 – 31.5 kWh/62 miles; CO2 emissions, combined: 37 – 30 g/km in the WLTP cycle) blends signature M dynamism, extrovert design and progressive interior luxury with maximum efficiency.

Its M HYBRID drive system is composed of a six-cylinder inline petrol engine and an electric motor integrated, together with its power electronics, into the eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. This combination produces system output of 476 hp (developed by the combination of the combustion engine with up to 313 hp and the electric motor with up to 197 hp) and maximum system torque of 700 Nm / 516 lb-ft (developed by the combination of the combustion engine with up to 450 Nm / 332 lb-ft and the electric motor with up to 280 Nm / 206 lb-ft).

The latest version of the 3.0-litre combustion engine fitted in the BMW XM 50e owes its enhanced performance characteristics among other things to the Miller combustion cycle, dual injection, an exhaust manifold integrated into the cylinder head and VANOS variable camshaft timing, which now works electrically.

The electric motor has a pre-gearing stage patented by BMW, which allows the effective torque at the transmission input for the motor to be increased to 450 Nm (332 lb-ft). The top speed of the high-performance model – which is also equipped with the all-wheel-drive system M xDrive – is an electronically limited to 155 mph. Thanks to an electric range of 48 – 52 miles in the WLTP cycle, the BMW XM 50e can cover much of its everyday mileage – e.g. in urban centres – with zero local emissions. And it can also be driven on electric power alone at speeds of up to 87 mph.

The most efficient version of the new M HYBRID system comes together with the extraordinary presence of the unmistakable high-performance model in the Sports Activity Vehicle segment.

The model-specific design features of the new variant include the black accent band along the sides of the car, plus a surround for the BMW kidney grille and trim detailing for the rear diffuser (both in Pearl-effect Chrome), exhaust tailpipe trim in Black high-gloss and silver-coloured bordering for the model badge.

Customers wishing to bring an extra personal touch to the interior of their new BMW XM 50e – which also offers a unique combination of modern sports car flair and extravagant luxury with its M-specific cockpit, M multifunction seats, sculptural headliner and M Lounge in the rear compartment – can specify features including exclusive Vintage leather for the upper section of the instrument panel and door trim panels.

Sport of Kings, King of Sports Polo is a game with a rich cultural history. Originating in Persia over 2,000 years ago, it is one of the oldest team sports in recorded history.

In the beginning, polo was a training game for cavalry units. To these warlike tribesmen, who played it with as many as 100 to a side, it was a miniature battle.

The Moguls were then responsible for taking the game from Persia tot he East, where it became known as “the sport of kings“.

Polo is taken from the word ’pholo’ meaning ’ball’ or ’ballgame’ in the Balti language of Tibet.

By the 16th century polo was well established in India in Mainpur, the English Army Officers discovered the game. They went on to found the world’s first polo club.

Today, more than 77 countries across the world play polo. It was an Olympic sport from 1900-1939.

Polo continues to represent the pinnacle of sport. This is a feeling epitomised by the famous verse inscribed on a stone tablet next to a polo ground in Gilgit, Pakistan:

Barbados Christie’s International Real Estate Returns to Barbados Through Partnership with Top Boutique Brokerage Barbados Luxury Listings, founded by 25-year island real estate veteran Dominique Silvera-Chittell, will rebrand as Christie’s International Real Estate Barbados Christie’s International Real Estate, the world’s preeminent luxury real estate brand, is making its return to the Caribbean Island of Barbados through a partnership with boutique real estate firm Barbados Luxury Listings. Robinhood Is Offering a Credit Card for the First Time and It's Available in 10-Karat Gold

Robinhood announced the card and its waitlist on Tuesday, marking the first time that the online trading app has expanded to credit cards. The company began offering a debit card two years ago and acquired no-fee credit card startup X1 Inc for about $95 million last year.

The card offers 5% cash back on travel bookings through Robinhood's new portal.

Similar to the Apple Card, the Robinhood Gold card has a clean look with no numbers, so users won't have to worry about their information being stolen if they lose their cards. Other cards, such as one from Mastercard, also have this kind of design.

Robinhood allows for the same family opt-ins as the Apple Card but with up to six people able to access one shared account.

Instead of requiring a minimum income or balance, Robinhood is trying to make its offerings available to "as many people as possible," Tenev told CNBC. For example, Tenev said that when Robinhood looked at the entire credit card landscape, they found that the highest cashback percentage with no limits was usually around 2%.

Most 2% cards come with some kind of a catch, according to NerdWallet. Credit cards from Bank of America and U.S. Bank do offer 3% cash back but in limited categories.

"3% is beyond what anyone else offers with no limit, no minimum balance, no net worth requirement to be part of the program," Tenev claimed.

How to Get a Real 10-Karat Gold Card The Robinhood card has a similar sheen to the American Express Gold Rewards Card, without the $250 annual fee, and it offers the same 3% cashback percentage as the Apple Card, which also has zero fees.

Robinhood is rewarding its Gold members who share news about the credit card by offering a solid gold version of the card.

Robinhood aims to "open up" a "high-net-worth experience" with the Gold membership, which is $5 per month, according to co-founder and CEO Vlad Tenev.

If Gold members share the news with their network and can get 10 people to sign up for the card, they will receive a 10karat real gold card that weighs 36 grams.
