That I was a bit of a troublemaker when I was a student. I got into my fair share of trouble. Also that I had a mohawk and I would skateboard.

What is your dream vacation?

Anywhere where there’s good hiking, beauty, and very few people. Near

When my students are engaged and happy and excited about what they’re doing. There’s nothing more exciting than knowing your students are involved.

What inspires you?

Beauty. Y’know, seeing beautiful things, seeing beautiful places. And kids. I couldn’t do this job if kids didn’t make me want to go to work. Now, there’s difficult times for sure, but there’s connections that I make with students that make me want to stay in the classroom.

There are a lot of qualities that we love about Mrs. McDonough, she is fun and nice to be around. She loves to teach her students and loves spending time with her family and friends. Students always have something nice to say about her, she deserves it after all. I asked to do a short interview with her and she was willing to do so! After the interview she wanted to share some things she enjoys about summer, and she loves to go camping and enjoys spending time with her family in the sunshine. She also likes to visit her mother and brother that live in Oklahoma! Did you know that Mrs. McDonough had a different name at birth? Her dad changed it before they came home from the hospital. Mrs. McDonough likes to take her dogs on walks often and loves to work on her yard and maintain it. Her students can easily name their favorite things about her and love spending time with her. She is fun to be around and makes going to school fun. She makes sure every student is safe and can succeed in school. She enjoys doing fun things and building relationships with her students and other teachers at POCS. She makes learning at school creative and entertaining. Anyways, here is the short interview and a couple of things students have to say about her.
