My favorite thing to do is- well I really enjoy doing absolutely nothing sometimes. I really like hiking, nature, and mountain trails and things like that.

What makes a ‘good day’ at school?

Why did you become a teacher?

I learned from my math teacher. I was a bit of a class clown and my teacher one time threw me the chalk and said “you teach” and that was my first experience teaching. I fell in love with it and over time I noticed that I enjoyed being around kids more than adults. I had an art degree but decided to go with teaching.

How long have you been teaching?

I believe that this is my 30th year teaching and I think it's my 11th year at POCS. Time flies!
