Plainville police responded to 11 motor vehicle accidents during the Feb. 16 winter storm. There were no serious injuries. One of the accidents, which occurred on New Britain Avenue, involved a Connecticut Transit bus, according to Police Sgt. Charles Smedick, head of the Plainville Police Traffic Division. “We also assisted the State Police on two motor vehicle crashes on Interstate 84, one being a roll over,” Smedick said.
