Glenwood& Oakwood CombinedBand Concert

AWordAboutConcert Etiquette...

FOR THE PERFORMER TO ACT PROFESSIONALLY, WE ASK THAT YOU:

Please dress appropriately for the performance to maintain a respectful and polished atmosphere. Avoid waving to others during the event to help keep the focus on the stage. Remain quiet and attentive to the performance, as this shows respect for both the performers and the audience. Please keep hands and feet to yourself to ensure everyone’s comfort and attention. By practicing these professional etiquette guidelines, you help show respect to other groups performing, and you also earn the respect of others while showcasing your own talents. Your hard work and dedication deserve to be celebrated!

FOR THE AUDIENCE MEMBER, WE ASK THAT YOU:

Please find a seat quietly as you wait for the concert to begin. Before the performance starts, feel free to converse quietly, but kindly refrain from talking during the concert to avoid distractions. Even whispers can carry, so it's best to save conversations for after the performance. Applaud generously after each complete piece is played. Some pieces consist of multiple movements; if unsure, observe the conductor typically, their arms lower when a piece concludes. Please refrain from yelling, screaming, or calling out performer names—it's important to maintain a respectful atmosphere. If you need to leave, kindly wait for the end of a piece. When returning, please also wait until the current piece concludes before returning to your seat. Remember to silence all electronic devices to prevent disruptions. While taking photos is permitted, please use discretion with flash photography, as it can be distracting to performers and other attendees. As a courtesy to those behind you, please remove hats before the concert begins. If attending with small children, please keep them with you. If they become restless or noisy, we kindly ask that you accompany them to the foyer until they are ready to return quietly.

THANK YOU for working together to help our Eagles SOAR!
