The Bottar - Leone Basketball Tourney served as the setting for the annual CBA men’s and women’s alumni basketball games on December 29. A Message from the New Associate Director of Alumni and Annual Fund, Jessie Keating In late August, I stepped into the role of CBA’s Associate Director of Alumni and Annual Giving and continue to be amazed by the caliber of person that graduates from this school. Daily, I discover a new CBA alum whose name I recognize as one of the movers and shakers in the Central New York region. The list of impactful lawyers, businessmen and women, politicians, priests and community servants goes on and on. Our alumni show tireless dedication to preserving CBA’s legacy of educational excellence that Central New York has come to expect. Everyone - current, future and former students - benefits from that dedication. Without your generous contributions of both time and resources, CBA Syracuse does not meet its potential. It is important that our young alumni see the value of staying connected and dedicated to their alma mater, and in particular, to our Lasallian mission of providing access to a topnotch college preparatory education for all qualified students. To create a more cohesive and connected alumni network, CBA is implementing an alumni networking “software-as-service” called EverTrue, thanks to Harvey Simmons ’07, currently working at EverTrue. In 2013, CBA alumni will implement EverTrue for access to a mobile networking platform on your smart phones that allows you to post resumes, find jobs, find classmates, get CBA news and reunion updates, donate easily and quickly online, all at your fingertips. In addition to EverTrue, CBA has contracted with Harris Connect to update our alumni directory. This process, which is free to the school, is a big boost to us as it provides updated information on our alums which helps us serve you better! Please respond this summer when you receive a postcard from Brother Joe inviting you to participate in the process. You will also have an opportunity to buy the directory which now features color photos submitted by you! Between EverTrue and Harris Connect, we are confident that we will be able to do a better job facilitating events and networking among CBA “Brothers.” I am looking forward to getting to know mo m more re alums in the coming months and to implementing new ways to connect with the school and wi w th each other. with
