Oversees 21 approved Career and Technical Education programs located in six of the high schools and she is responsible for multiple career exploration elective courses at the high school and middle school level.
CTE Supervisor supports CTE Program and Elective teachers with classroom instructional strategies, online and hard copy curricular resources, coobservations of teachers with principal, completion of PDE mandated on-going reports, SkillsUSA, dual enrollment, postsecondary articulation agreements, student certifications, CTE partnerships and events, lab safety and routine equipment maintenance.

Provide coaching and professional development support across the district (K-12) around all topics having to do with the instruction of English Learners.

Responsible for supporting the district’s ESL program initiatives. The position supports ESL teachers and mainstream teachers of English learners through instructional coaching cycles, conducts professional development, and collaborates with administrators. The position also supports English learners in facilitating the WIDA Screener upon arrival to PPS and WIDA ACCESS testing during the annual testing window.
