PAW PROGRAMS

Unlike student-led clubs, Pinewood’s PAW Programs are guided by adult mentors and are designed to cultivate purpose, develop agency, and ignite a lasting sense of wonder in our students. Through hands-on, project-based work, with real deadlines and tangible deliverables, students strengthen their leadership and collaboration capacity while acquiring new skills or honing and refining existing ones.

ACADEMIC ADVISING

Academic Advising is a core part of course progression and begins with freshmen. Students meet with their academic advisor each spring to work through course recommendations and requests, but may also meet with them throughout the year as needed. Academic Advisors are assigned; freshmen meet with the Head of Upper Campus or the Director of Curriculum; sophomores, juniors and seniors meet with the Director or Associate Director of College Counseling and Academic Advising who will also be the person guiding them through the college process.
