From The Chief-Editor

As they say, “The real fountain is within”, it gives me immense pleasure to call our club the real fountain of energy coupled with innovation. PTMC started just six months back and has made its place in every one’s heart. Our active members, innovative role players and spirited excom have shown that when your faith becomes stronger than fears; your dreams can become a reality.

As the time flies, it’s time to release our first newsletter which has “The Gist” of each member. The distinguishing factor of our newsletter is cent percent participation of members wherein each one has contributed his/her view point on the themes we had till now. I am sure the tagline of each power-packed PTMCian will catch your attention making our newsletter more captivating.

I seize this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed for this and who have gone out of their way to offer support, advice and encouragement to make our readers’ experience worth reading. Please feel free to provide your valuable feedback.

President’s Note

From The Desk of President

It was the month of December and early morning, I got a call from Area Director sharing his thought on starting a new club - Pimpri Toastmasters Club. He then went ahead asking if I can take up the opportunity to lead the club. That was a nostalgic moment for me because I simply wanted to be part of a community club and I was offered to lead the club. I took up this opportunity on 1st Jan 2017 as President of Pimpri Toastmasters Club. Soon after taking charge of the new club, we had numerous challenges to tackle but I was blessed with such a fantastic team of excom that we collectively took efforts and improved day by day.

Today, Pimpri Toastmasters Club is known for its quality meetings, fantastic social presence, new initiatives, fun – filled events and not to forget, its lovely members. Along the way, I made some really good friends, attended several conferences and outdoor events. As a President, I have had the privilege of working with a superior team of officers who overachieved at every opportunity. Whenever we needed something done, a committee was quickly formed and the problem was solved , or more commonly, handled in a fashion that was above and beyond the original objective. I am also grateful to the club sponsors and club mentors for all the support and love.

Serving as the President of the club involves many responsibilities, and I very much liked taking on such responsibilities, because they teach us so many things in a very short span of time. We organized many sessions to help club members learn various aspects of communication and leadership apart from regular meetings. Instead of focusing on our weakness and minimizing or overcoming them, the Toastmasters program works by helping us to identify and build our strengths.

As a President and as a member, I would like to conclude that if you think you are not able to share your thoughts or ideas across or if that 'connect' is missing, then experience being a member of Pimpri Toastmasters Club and see amazing transformations in your life.

District Director’s Words Friends & Fellow Toastmasters, Oftentimes, I wonder - days, weeks and months are no longer the same as they were a few years ago. I find them zipping through our lives faster than ever.

GO. DO. BE.

Here again, we are on the verge of completing another Toastmasters year and commencing a new one in a few days. And as we do that I thought, it would be pertinent to talk about these three words viz., Go. Do. Be.

If you often play word games, then you’ll know how helpful two-letter words can be. However, life is nothing short of a game itself. All of us with no exception, often find ourselves in situations which are quite different, sometimes even demanding. At such times, we look around to find the way out or in other terms the quintessential answers.

Let these words viz., Go. Do. Be. become our answers for all situations we encounter the coming year and ahead.

Let these words equip us to satiate the demands of life and bring peace and prosperity in all our endeavours.

Let these words give us the impetus to move ahead, do our best and be ourselves…

Dear Pimpri Toastmaster Club members,

Division Director Speaks

Congratulations on the first edition of your newsletter. This beneficial bulletin will serve as a great vehicle to inform, educate and entertain the membership about the latest happenings and values of Toastmasters in Pune and even internationally.

Service to the Member is one of Toastmasters' core values along with Integrity, Respect and Excellence. This means that unlike regular organizations where the CEO or Board of Directors is the most powerful; in Toastmasters the member is the most important. The success of any Club, Area, Division or District is completely dependent on the performance of the Member. Imagine if no member attends meetings, delivers speeches or plays functionary roles? There would be no Club, Area, Division or District. It is for this reason that I feel proud that Pimpri Toastmasters club has ensured that the experience of the member is maximized through not only great club quality but also through various activities. The PR activities designed by the club are well executed and the high membership is a testimony of that milestone. Celebration through Picnics or the exciting fellowships increases the camaraderie amongst all the members. The collaboration showcased by Pimpri Toastmasters by organizing regular joint meetings, inviting members from different clubs and sessions by senior toastmasters adds excellence to the club's quality.

The journey as a Toastmaster is a team effort; however, it also requires the input and effort of the individual.

As the Division Director and a fellow member, I encourage you all to set your goals high and to improve your listening, thinking and speaking skills, so that you can grow in your personal life as you use Toastmasters as your guide. We, the Toastmasters, have the tools and we must encourage each other to use them.

My fellow members, it is our task to keep the flag of commitment, excitement, and consistency to the club and its members flying high. We need to think and act outside the box and keep each other committed. For, in the end, we all will benefit.

I believe, what should make us proud are not so much the actual goals we attain, but rather the process that we go through in order to attain them. I look forward to seeing "Pimpri Toastmasters Club" attaining Presidents Distinguished Status soon.

Remember the more we put in, the greater our returns will be.

The Futuristic

“It wasn’t easy but it was worth it” – VP Ed. PTMC Being a VP Ed of PTMC has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. This experience has given me upright learning curve and the entire journey has been an ocean of knowledge and fun. Be it following up with the members for the role slots, be it convincing people to be the TMOD, be it planning speeches for the members, be it arranging educational sessions, every bit of it has been truly awesome. This has given me a life-long experience of how to be an effective leader and how to plan for success. All this would not have been possible without the support of a wonderful EXCOM and a highly influential and motivating President. When you have a President like Pramod Kiwande, half of your burden is taken away.

 Provide a conducive environment for the club members to learn and grow.  Ensure support to the EXCOM team to enact their responsibilities in the most efficient way.  Take PTMC to the tip of every toastmaster’s tongue.  Nurture the club and take it to the heights which we all as proud members of PTMC envisage.

The journey wouldn't be easy but as they say, the end is sweeter if the journey covered is challenging.

I want every member to celebrate the fact that we are part of PTMC and live, eat, breath, speak and feel PTMC!!

Lord Buddha says – “Value of Life is not based on how long we live, but how much we contribute to others in our society”

A similar thought flashed, in Dec’16, within TMCP-NW members and the result was a new club, known today as Pimpri Toastmasters Club!! Incepted from 1st Jan’17, constituting young shoulders agreeing to carry the club responsibilities as Excom, and some key members ready to transfer their membership for PTMC’s growth, we knew that the journey would not be smooth.

Challenges were countless including the venue, funding, able leadership, sustenance and much more. There were clouds of apprehensions, not knowing if we would succeed but the determination to touch the silver lining finally reaped its results. Travelling a journey from an underconstructed venue in B-Zone to Pratibha Institute, no funds to a sustainable bank balance, a ~12 to 25+ active members, from Ordinary to Quality Meetings, no Name to Full wished for !!

Fame, PTMC has achieved all that it has

25 weeks of Life but the club stands today brushing shoulders with some of the seasoned Toastmasters clubs within Pune.

As they say, the way a team plays as a whole determines its success. PTMC’s fabulous journey within a short stint is a result of each and every member’s contribution and support extended towards its leadership.

I congratulate every PTMC’ian today for achieving this milestone and wish you all a golden future ahead. May the Club shine as bright as the North STAR!!

The first time I visited the club, this was exactly the thought that was going on in my head. The club leaders took it upon themselves to set the right example for the membership and guests.

This began with the President reaching almost an hour in advance to help ensure that the logistics were in place in coordination with the SAA. The special arrangements of projector was also made available promptly.

The meeting proceeded as per the agenda (word by word). The members and the leaders were prompt in attending to the guests as soon as the meeting was over. No stone was left unturned as far as hospitality was concentered (this included a fellowship post the meeting).

If you’re contemplating visiting this club, think no more! This is definitely one club that you would like to visit again and again.

"In the beginning, it was all black and white but suddenly…."

It was a dilemma. It was a confusion.

Everything was black and white and then suddenly an opportunity shined on my way as I became the member of the energetic PTMC family. Hurray! I was a Toastmaster!

The entire experience has been overwhelming.

I have experienced the immense encouragement every member of the club has exuded towards me. Their enthusiasm towards welcoming new members and guiding them through their journey is commendable. Every meeting is rendered a success because of the meticulous planning and tremendous efforts put forth by all the members and role players.

PTMC has provided me a platform to be a better orator and I hope to have a successful journey ahead with the club!

In this 21st Century, no one is ever entirely alone. In the present world, it’s a bit difficult to feel like you’re ever one hundred percent alone.

Ears filling with chatter. Minds consistently racing. Bodies shuffling from one activity to the next at lightning speeds. Phones buzzing with a steady stream of text messages.

In this modern lifestyle, we are continually networking, socializing, working, chatting, hanging out, and inundated with external impetus. We value those experiences and the relationships we form with others so dearly, but what about the relationship we have with ourselves? Does it even exist? Do we value ourselves?

Love ourselves?

Understand ourselves? Would we be comfortable with being alone with nothing but our consciousness and our thoughts to keep us company? Or would we immediately seek refuge by distracting ourselves with social media, friends etc ?

When I first began "hanging out" with myself, honestly I was kind of bored. But the more time I devoted to myself, the more in tune I began to feel my spirit, mind, and body. I found that when I reduced the voices around me, I was finally able to hear the voice inside of me. It was like the voices inside me had been whispering before, but now were speaking clearly and definitively with a megaphone. I couldn't believe how much I had neglected that vital voice. It was telling me the answers I had been seeking all along.

So, what's stopping you from spending some time with yourself? Are you scared of what you might discover about yourself? About who you might become? About the changes, you might be inspired to make? Don't be. Just take it day by day, one step at a time. The only thing constant in life is change, so if we're not changing and growing, then we're regressing. So let's all make an effort to make time to be alone, to nurture our relationship with ourselves, to quiet the voices around us and listen to the one within us, and to grow.

The Reboot

Unleash the Leader in You R Ravi Kumar, ACB, ALB “Tell me and I will forget, show me and I will remember, involve me and I will learn” The 13th Chapter Meeting of Pimpri Toastmasters Club coincided with April fool’s Day! It’s tough to expect more when new ideas, innovative jokes and power packed performances by the role players of PTMC took everyone by surprise. But who knew a truly special session was in the making which would insight us with disruptive innovative techniques to "Unleash the leader within you" by none other but an expert trainer in leadership building, TM R Ravi Kumar.

TM R Ravi Kumar started the educational session with an interesting exercise. He divided the entire room into five groups and asked each group to choose the leaders corresponding to the three qualities he mentioned. Each group came up with different names like MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, APJ Abdul Kalam, Narendra Modi and Ratan Tata, to name a few. But everyone's insight was questioned when TM Ravi asked why didn't anyone choose to put their name on the list! The entire room was dumbstruck. And here came our first learning -To be a leader take initiative.

TM R Ravi explained about the attributes that distinguish a leader from the crowd and his explanations can be summoned up with a quote "everyone wants to eat but few are willing to hunt”.

TM Ravi also used abbreviations for easy explanation of the qualities required from a leader which are mentioned below: I - Imagination

T - Trust

M - Merchant of wow

R - Responsiveness

A - Authentic

A - Accountability

G - Guts

C - Communication

E - Excellence

D - Delegation

Overall, it was an amazing session with a lot of learning. The techniques used by TM R Ravi were so innovative, so engrossing that hardly anyone had a blink of an eye during the entire educational session.

Invented for Surprise

#FUN #EXCITEMENT #LEARNING #OUTBOUND

When life gives Toastmasters a lemon, we make a lemonade out of it. This is what happened when the Mother Nature played its part and summer brought the presidents of Pimpri TM Club, Syntel Pune TM Club and TMCP North-West together.

Something exciting was bound to happen. And “The Plan� was put in place to write 21st May 2017 as a day put down in history as one of the most entertaining days for all the three clubs.

An outbound meeting was planned at Ghadge Farms. Beginning with unlimited breakfast with local flavor, games as varied as musical chair, tug of war and cricket, beating the heat with pool party and fountain dance and finally the learning extravaganza i.e. an amazing meeting co-hosted by TM Hemant and TM Megha with excellent speeches. It was a dream Sunday for every Toastmaster and we all will crave for more such dreams to come true!

How was your experience in the skit?

I was not confident even after practice that I will be able to perform well in front of such a large audience. But with the guidance of wonderful director Jodi Yusuf – Aditya, who are like AbbasMastaan in our club, it became easier. They told me to just enjoy the character and perform freely on stage. This was the mantra for the entire team. That's why our SKIT was super hit at EXPRESSIONS. Your acting was very natural. In real life, do you have any devilish instinct inside you?

No, I am very simple person. I don't have devilish instinct. I am like an angel in real life.

I heard people were paying 50 Rs to click a photo with you. How much did you earn? On a serious note, what was your feeling with all the appreciation?

Yes, I asked but no one gave me any money. But what I earned was much more precious than money. I was happily able to put the smile on people's faces.

You got pushed a lot in the play. Were you able to get even with the co-actors ?

In the next SKIT, I will take revenge. As I said in the end of SKIT, I will come back. Devil is immortal.

The Angel - Devil Skit was performed by PTMC members at Division C Conference – Expressions 2017

How was your experience of the skit?

The experience of the skit was wonderful. As this was the first time I was performing in front of such a huge crowd, I was a little bit nervous. It also provided me the confidence to perform on stage.

You seem perfect for the angel role. How did you prepare for the role?

Practice… Practice… Practice..! After finalizing the script, I along with my team, practiced several times to ensure that I don't forget any dialogue during the skit.

How are you in the real life? Like angel or more towards devil?

In real life, I am like an angel, quiet and peaceful.

But only at times when I am angry, I become a devil.

There was a great on-screen chemistry with the Devil, how is your off-screen chemistry with him?

Well, my off-screen chemistry with Devil (Mukesh) is good, as he advises during our meetings. Also, he helped me a lot during skit practice.

Stars of PTMC Every PTMC member is a star, a living legend. We believe that everyone has some or the other quality and has helped PTMC to reach new heights. So we asked our stars to give a tagline for another star…. And the results are hilarious!! We got amazing taglines for our members!!

Fun does not stop here… We assigned every member one theme with which our meeting were been held in PTMC and asked PTMC stars to share views on theme… i.e. “What’s in a theme?”

And…again PTMC legends have come up with uproarious views on themes!!

Here it goes..

Theme - Out of the Comfort Zone My comfort zone is my bed and we can't ditch each other.

Theme - Kids, Adults and Legends Kids: Girlfriend Adults: Crush Legends: Half Girlfriend!

Theme - Colours of Life Life without colours has no meaning.. you can find each colour on our Devil Mukesh. He loves to wear colourful shirts.

Theme - When Words Fail, Music Speaks Never try to say I love you to your girlfriend. Just go with her and watch movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai!

Theme – Bollywood in My Soul I love Bollywood movies but some of them are illogical. E.g.. The epic movie Sholay! Dharmendra gets on a water tank for suicide which means the village has electricity then why does Jaya Bhaduri light a lantern every evening.

What’s in a Theme?

Theme – Summer In summer, the days are spent recalling all our foolhardy trips to the cool mountains and at nights, planning again for the future trips with a thumbs up in hand and the entire group singing “Kal Kuch Tufani karte hai"

Theme - Pursuit of Happiness A musk deer searches for the source of the fragrance of musk, but it won’t find it because the fragrance comes from within itself. We all are like musk deer. Happiness is not to be found outside of us, it exists within us.

Theme – To Begin, Begin After meeting I was so inspired that I started new season of Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and it continued with Two and A Half Men. William Wordsworth has rightly said "To Begin, Begin".

Theme – See Through A Child’s Eye Chocolates in my mouth, stars in my eyes, my hands dirty with crayons, and everything looks bright, bright and bright!!

Theme – Deja Vu In my long careers I have enjoyed many Deja Vu moments, maybe because I have habit of seeing many of the successful moments in my dreams!

Theme – Truth or Lies That awkward moment when you are actually telling the truth but you laugh during it and everybody thinks you are lying!

What’s in a Theme?

Theme – Together We Can If alone, it takes 9 months to birth the baby, but if 9 are together at work we can birth the baby in 1 month. Because together we can achieve the unthinkable..

Theme – Superheroes Superheroes are zeroes in front of Rajinikanth. They faint while watching a Rajini movie!!

Theme – 25 Shades of PTMC Spectacular Saturday, High Energy, Learn with Laugh, Push and Grow Together, Burst of Excitement, Abundance of Passion, Fantastic Discussions and Ineffable Experience!

Theme – Valentine's Day- Let's Rise in the Glory of Love After this meeting, PTMC members rose in the glory of love for toastmasters.

Infact the love was so deep that one member was promoting toastmasters even on family trip to Lavasa.

Theme – Speech Contests Speech contest is like a war, without weapons, a war without violence but the number of inflicted remains the same, the depth of scars remains the same because it’s a war of words.

Theme – To Travel is To Live The devoted monks of 'Namdroling Nyingmapa' monastery in Mysore, their kindness and simplicity struck a chord in my heart. I now believe, to travel is to take a journey into yourself.

Stars of PTMC Theme – Let’s Toast and Roast In Toastmasters, I saw a new funda when TM Hemant toasted and roasted the audience. I still remember when I was compared to Aishwarya Rai in the meeting, however just for two minutes, and then was roasted badly.

Theme - Bad Habits, Die Hard My wife told me that phone will spoil your eyes, stay away from it . I said, Honey… I have also noticed, it is old. Now I am waiting for iPhone 8 , I will exchange it.

Theme – Laughter is the Best Medicine After this meeting I have increased 3 kgs of weight.. Would laugh in each situation thinking that I will reduce weight, no diseases, no tension, but my belly came out..

Theme – Break Ups A breakup is not the end of the world, its the beginning of something new.. Stay strong and move on..

Theme – I’m Justaa Jovkkinngg!

I am not funny. I’m just really mean and people think I’m joking!

Theme – Retro 90s We will be the last generation whose childhood photo was not taken from mobile.

Theme – To Be Big, Think Big Until last 3-4 years, I wasn't that big, I was just 5'5. All the exercises, swimming were all useless until I realized that these are all just on paper and the real weapon is thinking big. I started thinking big twice a day, once in the morning, once in the evening and here I am now, 6'1 tall. So to be big, think big!

Frame the Star Your life in a nutshell!!

I am an ambitious Punjabi girl born and brought up in Haryana who loves public speaking, learning different languages (just to impress others) and asking questions. The idea of my life is very simple, live and let live. I always aim at being a better version of myself. However, at times, I end up being impatient. I always have a great company of friends, good food (like Rajma Chawal) and confidence surrounded by me.

How did it feel to win both table topics contest and ISC at club level?

The feeling is really good when you are surrounded by people who want to click pics with you and your certificates. Winning ISC brought gaiety but winning table topics was a shock especially at area level. It adds pressure and more of tasks to your to-do list until Area level.

Even now, I shiver when I go on stage in table topics which was evident in division contest also.

You seem to be expert at winning competitions. What is your secret mantra?

Winning competitions is all about your confidence and your confidence is all about faking it until making it. This is what I believe in. My journey of public speaking started when I was in 8th standard. I took part in events, failed a lot of times but always bounced back with that same fake confidence. TM Palak who won the contest was not made overnight rather had a journey of 11 long years. So, fake it, fake it, fake it until you make it!!!

Many people get cold feet on thinking about table-topics . Please share some tips to approach it I too am in the same category, trust me. You must have seen my division level. :P. But, still, I have some tips which made me won Area in table topics. Reading (as you need content to speak), regular practice and a constant support by your mentor. In my case, I was constantly pushed by my mentor TM Niket Rana. I used to practice four random topics daily, read articles and converse with my mentor continuously for 15 minutes in English just to increase my fluency.

Palak before joining toastmasters and after joining it. What are the changes you have experienced?

I can certainly say I am a better version of myself.

Before March 2016 when I joined, I was not fluent, didn’t manage time well and had laid back attitude.

Toastmasters not only taught me how to be good in grammar and use less filler words but also taught me the value of time and how to take initiatives. Now, I have larger community of friends, constructive utilization of weekend, more of known restaurants for fellow ship :P and of course better leadership skills than before.

They say the way you handle failure defines you as a person. The interview you gave after division contest inspired me a lot. Please take us through it.

I still remember that red letter day of my life when I messed up the things but then when TM Anupriya asked me that why MS Dhoni is my inspiration. I had the same answer which was, I have not learnt to be as cool as him but I have learnt to bounce back like him.

It’s okay if I have messed up today but I would attend the meeting tomorrow with same fake confidence and smile. ď Š We need to bounce back, kyunki haar kar jeetne vale koh Sharukh Khan nhi Baazigar khte he. :P Your speech delivery is amazing. How do you practise it.

need to be regular in your efforts. Make sure you give at least one speech in a month, keep in constant touch with your mentor, get your speech recorded and compare each speech with previous one.

What do you do in your fun time?

I like to watch Bollywood movies and travel with friends. This is the reason I love Pune as it has many hill stations around. You just need an awesome weather, a good company and a vehicle. You will not come to know how time passed away.

What is your advice to newly joined toastmasters on how to make most out of this journey?

As nothing read or worked upon gets wasted, likewise, in toastmasters, no role gets wasted. Please do every role, be it of timer or ah counter with sheer dedication and bring some innovation in it. Move both the tracks of communication and leadership in parallel and last of all, make it a point to fill your manuals without fail.

How can our thinking change when we see the grandeur of nature?

TM Aditya Anand Being wrapped in the true arms of raw nature had a significant impact on the way I perceive things. And after watching the movie “Into the Wild” my belief got a confirmation to how nature and its beauty can totally transform the otherwise non-penetrable, thick layers of our mind. I could relate the entire length and breadth of what the director Sean Penn was trying to show and wanted us to believe. And in this article I will let my thoughts flow and put myself as the sample of how nature with all its experiments performed on me a magic, which totally changed the definition of the ‘concept of me’.

It all started in my not so early college days. I with a group of my friends planned a short trek to a place called Dayara Bugyal– a not so common destination for trekkers My mind searching for an escape from the hustle and bustle of their city life in the lower parts of Himalayas was ready for an escape. .

It was not that this destination was extra ordinary but it was all about the journey and more so over track of events during that journey, strangely to which I could relate few of my most cherished memories of my childhood which became the epicenter and generated vibrations in my mind, my soul, my body. And then such journeys continued.

These interactions with nature questioned my existence and there began a life time search for the answers of questions which one could any day ask oneself and totally get lost the other moment I was not forced into what and when of the chain of events that started shaping me altogether but rather the How and Why of it. I was slowly unraveling the exact thinking and emotions that were able to shake that non permeable membrane just sitting at the top of us and put it off its comfort zone.

So, ending with the only voice that I heard when I was lying between those gigantic mountains staring at me, their peaks shining with that golden light of sunrise “Himalayas are always calling us and the only thing we need to do is to answer them back, just answer them back!!

Not A Miracle Anymore!

Arun Nawge, ACS, ALB This is Arun Nawge, 56 years,

Mumbaikar by birth, currently in Pimpri, Pune since last 9 years.

Height: 175 cm Weight : 93 kg ( as on 19 Feb 2017) I used to look slimmer due to my heavy bones.

Annual body check-ups used to give normal reports.

I was active in sports and gym till I met with freak bike accident in December, 2014 and my A.S. ligament was damaged and I underwent surgery (weighed 88 kg then). Due to inactive routine postsurgery, I gathered lots of fat around belly with circumference of 40.5. In the first week of February this year, I met Amol Bhagwat during Kardalivan Parikrama, and he introduced this Magical weight loss plan to me. When I got my HbA1C as 6.2 and fasting insulin as 4.5, it was a shock for me, as I was reported "Pre-diabetic". I took the diet plan very seriously from 19th Feb. 2017. As per my current work schedule, I opted 10:30 am and 7:30 pm as my meal timings. Started with 4.5 km walk in 45 min. I could see amazing results in the first week itself.

That prompted me to stretch myself a little more and I started walking 6 km in 60 min, then by the end of 4 weeks, I started walking 7 km in 70 min. Since last week I could walk/jog 8 km in 70 min.

Previous Diet plan: As per guidance from Gym Instructor, I had stopped drinking tea and eating rice. And used to have heavy breakfast, light lunch followed by evening snacks with no dinner. I followed it for almost six months.

Current Diet plan: I started eating everything including rice. In first four weeks I used to take everything allowed in gaps between meals as per diet plan, however after reading the article on 'drinking water' by Dr. J. V. Dixit, now I have only plain water between gaps whenever I feel hungry.

Results (in 10 weeks) are reasons for big celebration!

Weight: 81 kg ( 12 kg less) Waist Circumference: 34" (6.5" less) HbA1C: 5.4 (from 6.2, now I am non-diabetic) Fasting Insulin: 12.9 (from 4.5, normal) Truly magical, I now feel much younger and energetic as I was at the time of my marriage, 28 years back. A niggle in right knee post-surgery has vanished.

Next target: To reduce weight to 75 kg in next 4 weeks and participate in 10 km Marathon as some of my friends are doing.

Now this will become my way of life and I shall continue to promote the mission to make India Diabetes free.
