Recreational offerings via the Active Youth Coalition - a collaborative group of providers and advocates who will support and expand active engagement resources in south Pierce County to promote the healthy physical, mental, and social benefits of play and physical exercise These programs are discounted to increase engagement and participation aligning with the vision of the Active Youth Coalition, in which every child has the opportunity to be active through sports, play and outdoor recreation regardless of race, gender, income and ability

This is strictly a recreational program There are no try-outs, league championships, and no win-loss records kept Everyone plays regardless of ability The league purpose is to provide and enjoyable, safe and positive experience while learning respect, sportsmanship, and the basics of softball and baseball Boys and girls play on the same team, and these are volunteer coach and officiated leagues
