Does your child have a love for trucks and large vehicles? Then check out Pierce County’s Touch A Truck free family-friendly event where the young and young at heart love to climb, run around, sit in, and even honk the horns of trucks and large vehicles seen throughout the county.

Join us for a tail-wagging good time at our canine festival, featuring vendors, food trucks, doggy games a activities, including art proje treats hunting, and a costume contest In addition to the festivities, don't miss out on the chance to explore adoption opportunities, snag some giveaways, and capture precious memories at our photo booth

Puget Sound Pet Food Bank will be on-site to accept donations of dog and cat food, treats, and gently used pet items Come join us for a day of furry fun and support a paws-itively great cause!

TWILIGHT TRAIL WALK

Enjoy a guided twilight walk with tips on hiking gear, night safety, and what makes after-dark adventures unique We’ll end the night with a campfire, hot cocoa, s’mores, and a takehome nature activity booklet for kids Dress for the weather and bring a chair to relax by the fire! It’s a great way to experience the park in a whole new light

Learn about bats, get creative with bat crafts, join a walk along Naches Trail to see bat boxes, and sip hot cocoa and hot cider.

Scavenger Hunt

TRICK OR TREES

Collect a scavenger hunt form from the community center or download online Take a stroll along the Nature Trail and record the number of Halloween faces you find in the trees. Then return your completed form to the community center, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 pm for a prize

TRAIL OF TRICKS

Halloween creatures have taken over the Grandview Trail! Starting at the playground, go along the trail in search of creepy and eerie creatures Find all of them, fill out your scavenger hunt card, and turn it in to get a themed goody bag!
