Reporting fall/winter 2024 trends that have been pulled from mass market and luxury designer fashion brands. The selection for this fall/winter aligns with desires for personal expression. The color palette includes star colors cherry bomb, little baby pink and night navy blue, together with the classic fall neutrals grey and camel. Leopard print took over high-end brands (Dolce & Gabbana) and was adopted by the fast fashion brands to the point of oversaturation. Plaid is always a staple print for fall, this season designer interpretation gingham is having a moment. Across the high street brands knitwear is a key item in fall collections. This fall most knits were constructed with a horizontal stripe or cable knit. Luxury brands featured more novelty knits, specifically with distressed or embellished details. Leather and denim are is embellished with silver studs. To keep warm in the colder months, pattern outerwear is paired with faux fur accessories.
