Acne Studios is an official member of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode since 2013.

In a world where women’s bodies and appearances are politicized, as the people in power fight to take away women’s rights, garments can serve as both a protective measure and a form of personal expression.
Clothing can be a tool for resistance. By wearing what may be perceived as "unfeminine" or "controversial," women are challenging the status quo and rejecting the idea that their worth or respectability is tied to what they wear. Fashion and clothing become a way to fight against expectations of how women should look. In this sense, fashion becomes a form of protest—wearing clothes that subvert traditional beauty standards, reject the idea of "appropriate" clothing, or simply refuse to conform to societal expectations.
The garments serve as both a shield and a statement. The garments embody a sense of protection and strength.
The materials are heavy, textured, and suggest durability. The silhouettes are oversized or layered, creating a feeling of enclosure.
