Welcome to our newsletter which gives a snapshot of what we are doing working in our three key areas of service:
• Schools – both on short programmes and longer tutoring programmes helping young people who are trying to close the skills gap and get on track
• Adult learning – Helping adults in impact areas to reskill and upskill and achieve their potential
• Adult jobs – Helping people who are long term unemployed to get the skills and confidence required to get into jobs
We work with thousands of people each year with a laser focus on the needs of the community by being involved in it, both on the ground and strategically, on a daily basis. This has a major impact on being able to identify, challenge and solve issues which are very real. This in turn has a major impact on reducing crime, strengthening the community, improving mental health as people become engaged and a part of their community and also improving the economy. We are working on this locally, regionally and nationally and are involved at every level from the strategic planning to working with individuals to solve the issues that they face.
Well done in all we achieve together and he’s to much more of it in 2023,
Much love,
PET-Xi Training

SKILLS TEAM WELCOMES NEW STARTERS
We would like to welcome our amazing new starters to the Skills Team. Some familiar faces you will recognise along with some great new team members, all with years of experience breaking barriers and changing lives.
This year is going to be the busiest ever with the recession really hitting hard and the cost of living increasing, more and more people will need to reskill and upskill across the community, and we are ready to make a difference and support them along the way.

The Disability Confident Scheme:
• Helps employers recruit and retain great people,
• Challenge attitudes and increase understanding of disability
• Draw from the widest possible pool of talent
• Secure high-quality staff who are skilled, loyal and hard working
• Improve employee morale and commitment by demonstrating fair treatment
• It helps identify those employers who are committed to inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
