West Coast Escape Giveaway
1. INTRODUCTION

By entering this giveaway, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This campaign is hosted by Perfect Hideaways and is governed by the relevant privacy and competition laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and applicable South African legislation.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Open to South African residents aged 18 and over. Participants must hold a valid public Instagram account.
• Employees of Perfect Hideaways and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
• Entries that do not meet all criteria will be deemed invalid.
3. GIVEAWAY PERIOD
The giveaway opens on Tuesday, 1 July 2025 and closes on Thursday, 24 July 2025 at 23:59 SAST. Entries submitted outside of this period will not be considered.
4. HOW TO ENTER
To be eligible for entry, participants must:
• Tag a friend in the giveaway post comments. Share the giveaway post to their Instagram Stories.
• Leave a creative comment on the giveaway post answering: “Why do you love the West Coast?”
All three steps must be completed for the entry to be valid.
5. PRIZE
One winner will receive: Two nights’ stay at Villa Kersbos for up to 8 guests (double occupancy). A private 4-course dinner prepared by Dawid from Lekker Weskus.
Prize Dates: The stay must be redeemed over the Women’s Day weekend, 9–11 August 2025.
Prize Conditions:
• The prize is non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash. Once claimed, it can be transferred to another party, but the dates cannot be changed.
• Accommodation is subject to the terms and house rules of the property.

6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
• One winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries. The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message on 25 July 2025.
• To claim the prize, the winner must respond within 5 calendar days (by 30 July 2025).
• If no response is received, a new winner will be selected.
7. GENERAL TERMS
• Perfect Hideaways reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not comply with these Terms or attempts to manipulate the giveaway unfairly.
• Participants must ensure their social media profiles are set to public during the giveaway period to validate their entry.
• By entering, participants agree to the use of their name and submitted content for promotional purposes, without compensation, where permitted by law.
• Perfect Hideaways may modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway at any time without notice if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
8. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
By entering, participants consent to the collection and processing of their personal information (Instagram handle, name, contact info) for the purpose of administering the giveaway and awarding the prize.
• All data will be handled in compliance with POPIA and will not be shared with third parties unless required for prize fulfillment or by law. Data will be retained only as long as necessary and will be securely deleted thereafter.

9. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Perfect Hideaways is not responsible for:
• Technical issues or entries not received due to user error or platform limitations. Any travel or incidental costs associated with redeeming the prize.
• Any injury, loss, or damage resulting from use of the prize.
10. GOVERNING LAW
This giveaway is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
• Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of South African courts in accordance with the Competition Act and POPIA.
