EMAIL MARKETING INTERN
Location: Dreyersdal Farm, Bergvliet, Cape Town

Reports to: Head of Brand and Marketing

Perfect Hideaways curates an exclusive portfolio of extraordinary private homes. Each hideaway is selected for its distinctive character, architectural integrity and evocative location. Our storytelling-led approach extends across every touchpoint, including our email newsletters which play a vital role in sharing our homes and seasonal collections with a like-minded audience.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are offering a paid internship for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in email marketing and digital communications.
This internship is suited to a student or recent graduate with a flair for design, an eye for visual balance, and a natural interest in the luxury travel and lifestyle space. You will be guided and supported by our in-house marketing and design team, and gain meaningful experience in how a brand like Perfect Hideaways communicates with its audience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the layout and design of weekly email newsletters Support the editing and selection of imagery using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
• Integrate pre-written copy into designed templates, ensuring clarity and visual flow
Check links and assist with testing to ensure a seamless user experience
• Collaborate with the brand and design team to align visuals with content themes
Support basic list management and audience segmentation
Assist in tracking key metrics such as open rates, click-throughs and engagement
• Contribute to internal performance reports and help identify areas for improvement
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
A genuine interest in email marketing, visual communication, or content design
• A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign) Some familiarity with platforms like Mailchimp, Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), or similar
• A considered eye for design and a respect for tone and visual consistency
