Personal Assistant to the Co-founder

Location: Dreyersdal Farm, Bergvliet, Cape Town

Reports to: Owner & Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Personal Assistant (PA) will provide dedicated support to the Co-founder of Perfect Hideaways by managing both business-related and personal tasks. This role requires a highly organised, reliable, and discreet individual who can balance administrative duties, home-related tasks, and day-to-day errands with efficiency and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Support

• Assist with uploading and organising hideaway content from the Co-founder onto relevant drives and platforms.

• Coordinate and manage the Co-founder’s diary, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Draft and manage correspondence, documents, and presentations as required.

• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on behalf of the Co-founder.

PERSONAL & HOME ADMINISTRATION

• Handle home administration tasks including filing, payments, and household record-keeping.

• Coordinate and oversee home maintenance, service providers, and contractors when required.

• Run personal errands including shopping, collections, and returns.

• Drive the Co-founder to meetings, appointments, and events as needed.

DAY-TO-DAY SUPPORT

• Provide logistical and organisational support for both professional and personal activities.

• Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

• Anticipate needs and proactively manage tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Support with special projects or ad hoc requests from the Co-founder.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in MS Office / Google Suite and cloud-based systems.

• Discretion and trustworthiness in handling sensitive information.

• Flexible, adaptable, and proactive with a positive attitude. Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar support role

• Experience in managing both business and personal administration will be an advantage.
