LEAD STORY

A SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH FOR THE COMBIVITI RANGE

The COMBIVITI range is the big news for 2024. To get the year off to a good start, the sales and marketing teams wanted to present this new range to the network.

COMBIVITI, THE SIMPLE AND ECONOMIC SOLUTION FOR PREPARING, SIZING AND BREEDING

The launch of this new range took place in Arles (France) on 25 January. It was held at the Domaine Isle Saint Pierre, the historic partner with which PELLENC invented the Taille Rase de Précision (TRP), and was attended by around fifty participants, made up of independent distributors and teams from our subsidiaries PELLENC BORDEAUX-CHARENTES and PELLENC LANGUEDOC-ROUSSILLON. It was a great success, despite the fact that the event was organised in a special context due to traffic conditions, as it took place during the period of farmers' demands in France!

4

COMBIVITI, A REAL SWISS ARMY KNIFE

COMBIVITI has been designed to fully mechanise vine pruning and is based on TRP, a technology developed and tried and tested by PELLENC over several years. The user attaches the precision pruning tool (TRP), the pre-pruner and the de-budder (for pruning the vine shoots) to a single chassis.

The range has been designed to reduce costs and optimise pruning time. The estimated saving between the cost of manual pruning and that of precision pruning is between 50% and 90% per hectare, depending on the age and management of the vines. It also helps to combat spring frosts, as the TRP can be used very late in the season to avoid the risk of frost. It's also an alternative way of making up for the shortage of labour and mechanising time-consuming and arduous tasks for winegrowers.

A LAUNCH THAT LIVED UP TO EXPECTATIONS

Thanks in particular to a varied and balanced programme of presentations and demonstrations, the teams were able to convince the distributors, and in particular the teams from the subsidiaries present, who see real sales potential for this tool.

WATT 2027

COMPANY PROJECT

ENABLE ALL EMPLOYEES TO KEEP

ABREAST OF PROGRESS

SESSIONS IN PERTUIS AND IN THE BRANCHES, EVERY 3 MONTHS

As announced when we first spoke in October 2023, information sessions to monitor the progress of the WATT 2027 strategic project are now organised every 3 months. They are open to all Group employees. The aim is to get closer to employees and distribute the same information to all levels of the company. The first edition of 2024 was held on 16, 17 and 18 January, with 5 face-to-face sessions in Pertuis and 4 remote meetings with all the subsidiaries.

6
In Pertuis, 5 sessions were held for over 600 employees. The sessions were held in the Syrah room, where the seating capacity was doubled by replacing the usual chairs with benches.

ON THE PROGRAMME FOR THE JANUARY SESSIONS:

Taking stock of 2023 by looking back at the difficulties and successes of the past year, which was marked by an economic slowdown in our markets but also by a number of gratifying events, such as PELLENC's 50th anniversary and the presentation of three awards at SITEVI for our products RX-20 (robot), AIR 3 (CV45 conveying system) and SECURION (cabinet for lithium ion batteries).

Review the ambitions of the WATT 2027 corporate project by recalling the 3 challenges (diversified growth, operational excellence, sustainable enterprise) through 6 strategic areas and 64 current and future projects.

Draw up a 2024 outlook, focusing on : new products from the Machinery BU (at each session, a BU will be highlighted), the development of French distribution, the presentation of our four CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) commitments and the launch of a pilot collaborative working group on "Values & Behaviour at PELLENC" at PELLENC SAS.

Answering all questions from Group employees.

In Pertuis, these discussions gave way to a convivial moment with the sharing of the "king cake".

The next meeting is in April!

7
4 videoconference sessions were organised (in English and French) at different times. This enabled all subsidiaries and remote employees to follow an information session.

COMPLIANCE

THE ROLE OF THE DATA PROTECTION OFFICER (DPO) PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

It is essential for organisations to ensure that the personal data of their employees, customers and third parties is processed in a compliant manner. To this end, and in addition to the RGPD, the Data Protection Officer (DPO) ensures effective data protection and is considered to be the guarantor of data protection.

WHAT ARE THE MISSIONS OF A DPO?

Generally speaking, the DPO ensures that the organisation complies with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data. To this end, he/she must :

1 - Informs and advises the organisation in which it operates, as well as its employees. It provides in-depth support for change in the use of data within the company.

2 - Monitor compliance with the Regulation and with national legislation on the protection of personal data.

3- Cooperate with the supervisory authority, the CNIL.

8

PROTECTING PERSONAL DATA: A CENTRAL CONCERN

In response to the growing importance of data protection, Léa MIGAYRON has joined the Legal Department as a Legal Officer - DPO on a sandwich course. On completion of her degree, she will be eligible for the title of DPO of the PELLENC Group, succeeding Sébastien JAEN.

Her first action as DPO was to set up a questionnaire addressed to 125 employees of PELLENC SAS, who are most exposed to the processing of personal data, in order to assess their level of knowledge of the RGPD.

SOME FIGURES ON THE RESULTS OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE

Response rate : 62%

Overall average : 11.3/20

Top mark for Sébastien JAEN (Group DPO): 18.7/20

WHAT DOES THE GDPR ALLOW IN TERMS OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION?

1- Process personal data only for the purposes for which it was collected,

2- Process data for a certain period of time, during which it may be kept and then destroyed at the end of this period once the need has been met.

For all activities involving personal data, please send your request by e-mail to dpo@pellenc.com or to the Legal Department.

A GROUP-WIDE HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK

SimonBARBEAU, CEO of the Group, and Olivier GOURLAOUEN, Group Chief Operating Officer, have positioned Occupational Health and Safety as a major objective with the ambition of 0 accidents, which is also one of the pillars of our WATT 2027 corporate project.

This commitment, supported by the Group's governance, is now enshrined in an Occupational Health and Safety Policy statement. This will be presented and explained by managers, who are the key relays in the process.

14 GROUP NEWS
The Health, Safety and Environment team, comprising (from left to right): Antoni SALE, Clara GILBERT, Laurence LIABEUF, Jérémy LOSTETTER and Kévin GOMEZ.

There are 3 major areas of focus on the road to 0 accidents:

1- Develop and embed an occupational health and safety culture at all our sites, using 2 levers: communication to make Safety more visible (the safety flash on accidents at work and soon the World Safety Day in April) and training to validate reliable and sustainable safety behaviours.

2- Complying with health and safety regulations in the workplace: a real challenge in a context where rules are multiplying rapidly and changing frequently.

3- Laying the foundations for a Group-wide approach to health and safety at work, with 3 levels of management.

Working together to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for everyone means promoting a culture of prevention. That's our common goal!
