EMPLOYEES IN THE FIELD TO TEST OUR BATTERY-POWERED TOOLS DEMONSTRATIONS
Once again this year, in the middle of the pruning season, we organised demonstration sessions for our battery-powered tools for our employees in Pertuis. The event took place in the vineyards and forests of the Château de Val Joanis, just a few minutes from the company in Pertuis (Vaucluse, France). Almost 60 participants took part in the demonstrations, and were able to get a real feel for what it's like to work in the field, in weather that wasn't always favourable!
Employees from all departments took part in these sessions to find out more about our battery-powered tools and test them out after receiving explanations and sound advice from our five experts: Florence ALIBERTI, OAB GCT Department Manager, Jean-Michel PLOUZEAU, OAB AGRI Department Manager, Christophe LAFON, OAB Product Expert, Matthieu PANNETIER, OAB Demonstrator Promoter and Florence TASTEYRE, OAB VDP Workshop Team Leader.
As an HR employee, this demonstration enabled me to discover the battery-powered tools and to gain a better understanding of the technologies used, which we don't know enough about at our level. It's a very good initiative that helps us understand what we're working for at PELLENC. The explanations given by the demonstrators were enriching and gave us a clearer idea of the future of PELLENC products.

A DOZEN TOOLS TO GET TO GRIPS WITH
Two workshops were organised to enable employees to discover, test and get to grips with as many tools as possible: pruning and tying of vines and maintenance of green spaces. Battery-powered tools from the GCT (Green & City Technology) range included the AIRION BACKPACK, AIRION 3, EXCELION ALPHA, EXCELION 2 LH, HELION 3, RASION 2 and CULTIVION ALPHA.
On the OAB AGRI side, it was on the C35 & C45 pruning shears and the FIXION 2 tying device that the employees tried out their skills in an ideal setting, in the vineyards.
These days not only help to improve our employees' knowledge of our tools, they are also a perfect opportunity to share moments of discovery between departments.

It's always a pleasure to give these demonstrations and share our product knowledge. We usually do this for customers, but these events are a real opportunity to pass on our knowledge to our work colleagues!
SECURITY
SECURE USE OF REMOVABLE STORAGE MEDIA INFORMATION SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT
Removable media includes any external storage device that you can connect to your computer or other digital devices, such as USB sticks, external hard drives, SD cards and CDs/DVDs.
Their portability and ease of use make them extremely practical tools for sharing and transporting data.
RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH REMOVABLE MEDIA
1. Introduction of malware: This can occur when the media is used on an infected computer and then connected to another device, spreading the malware.
2. Data loss or theft: Due to their size and portable nature, removable media are easily lost or stolen, which can lead to a leak of sensitive information.
3. Data breach: The unregulated use of removable media can facilitate data breaches, whether intentional or not, jeopardising the confidentiality and integrity of our information.
GOOD PRACTICE IN THE USE OF REMOVABLE MEDIA
1. Use only company-approved media: Avoid using personal media for work. Only use devices supplied and approved by the Information Systems Department (ISD).
2. Do not connect unknown media: Avoid connecting removable media whose source is unknown. They could be infected by malicious software.
3. Systematically scan removable media: Before using removable media, make sure you scan it with anti-virus software to detect and eliminate any potential malware.
PROCESS :
- Right-click on the location of the USB key
- Select "show other options" then "malware scan".
4. Encrypt sensitive data: When storing sensitive information on removable media, use encryption software to protect data in the event of loss or theft of the device.
This is free open-source software that creates an encrypted volume on removable media, in which files can be stored securely.
5. Keep removable media safe: Store removable media in a safe place when not in use to prevent loss or theft.
6. Report loss or theft immediately: In the event of loss or theft of removable media containing company data, it is crucial to report it immediately to your manager and the IT Department.

PSAS NEWS
OUR BATTERY-POWERED TOOLS SHOWROOM GETS A MAKEOVER MARKETING
For several weeks now, the Marketing team has been working on the layout of the tools on the shelves of the Battery-Powered Tools showroom located at the entrance to the workshop in the Pertuis factory.
The shelf has been given a new look, with a host of new tools added to those already on display! In the long term, the aim is to develop this configuration within our distribution network, so that we can showcase our tools.
A DEMONSTRATION ROBOT IN THE MACHINES WORKSHOP PRODUCTION
For several months now, the Standards Methods Process (SMP) department has been working on internal logistics flows at the PSAS plant. As part of this work, the team decided to turn to an AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot).
A robot integrator, BOWE, has presented a solution that could make it possible to move trolleys and rolling shelves filled with workstation-specific parts, which are currently moved manually by logisticians. This technology would enable logisticians to
refocus their work and concentrate on the core tasks of their profession.
On Friday 23 February, a full-scale test was organised in the Machines workshop. A number of departments had worked together in advance to prepare for this demonstration: Production, HSE and Logistics, who were the main players in this project. A second test in night mode was also very successful!
